  1. I'd like to see those screenshots please, because while I many times said that we don't EXPECT to see turn 4/5, because of the terrible schedule/lack of clocks, I'm pretty confident I never said we PLANNED not to, since that wasn't the case. Have seen them now, thanks. They do not show any deliberate slow play at all, that's just a bad interpretation.
  2. 2 months since issues with the format were raised, any chance of an update so we know what to practice locally before the tournament? Thanks!
  3. Keeping in mind your desire to run 1 of each strat on each of the 4 tables (cool concept) I have two suggestions that try to minimise time spent between rounds on the pairing process: Each team declares all 4 factions, all 4 tables are shown with a different Strat/Pool assigned to each of them. Each team secretly writes down which faction will play at each table - then the usual app system of master and crew declaration continues OR Similar system to the one you currently have but TEAM A puts forward one player, then TEAM B two and TEAM A chooses the matchup on tables 1 and 2, then TEAM B chooses table 3 (and therefore 4). Still an advantage for one team, but significantly less than the current system. Hope it at least gets some ideas going for you guys.
  4. Ah ok i've never seen bag o tools used since I play in EU, might be worth making a longshanks link anyway so people can see it under upcoming events? Team events are sparse so might attract another team you never know? Yeh my reading is the same as yours but if you actually follow through with the "and so on and so forth" part (which I also didn't do until recently) you realise that A picks 1 and 3, and since 4 is what remains (there is no 5) A effectively picks 3/4 matchups and tables, which is HUGE. I was wondering if this was a brand new format or had already seen some play, or if I understood it somehow incorrectly?
  5. We've taken a look at the player pack and the pairing system looks really weird from the outside. It seems like 1 team (presumably at random) gets to pick 3/4 tables and matchups, and the other team only 1/4 (effectively since table 3 also decides table 4... and table 1 picker, picks 3, and thus decides 4) From experience of the WMH world team championship, this would be an advantage that's hard to overcome so i'm thinking I must have misunderstood it. Could you let me know how/if i'm being an idiot please? Also, is there a longshanks link for this tourney yet? Thanks!
  6. Hi guys, team from the Czech Republic here looking to get our hands on a player pack or something with details so that we can sign up and join while understanding the format, thanks!
