  1. Congrats on the very comprehensive guide ! I've played a lot of Insanitary and have tried the summon plan but realised it is a trap. You say it yourself, you have to hire 10+ stones of models you don't want to summon a not so good 7 stones minion per turn with a lot of constraints and a high likelihood of being screwed by the black joker. On the opposite, focusing on the Appendages upgrades to improve the keyword models has worked a lot better for me. And for me, the Extra Fat on the Corpse Curator is the one with the highest ceiling. Consider that every time the Corpse Curator moves, it can move a Sludge marker and deal 1 dmg and Poison+2 to all enemies touched by the marker at the starting and ending position of the marker. If this move was caused by Desperate Plot, you get some poison on the Corpse Curator and a built in triggers for more damage and poison on enemy models. And finally, the Corpse Curator can choose to inflict the damage it would suffer from poison to a model in base contact (end of turn or bonus action from Chihuahua). That's a crap ton of unresisted damage. And that's just one example of what can be done. Anyway, even though I disagree with your assumption that Insanitary should be played as a summoner. I salute the hard work that was put into building this very comprehensive guide. I just wanted to highlight that there might be different approaches to play Insanitary that maybe could better match the playstyle of some folks reading this. Thanks again for your work ! Max
  2. Thanks for your answers chaps ! Max
  3. Hi there, Menacing: While within [aura 3] of another friendly model with this ability, enemy models suffer a [neg] to Attack Actions targeting this model. So let's say I have two models (A and B) with the Menacing ability. If an enemy targets model A with an attack action, would it sufer a [neg] if : (1) - A is within [aura 3] of B or (2) - the enemy is within [aura 3] of B I personally read it as (2), but I've read here and there people using Menacing in addition to concealement to protect from gunlines, so I'm asking for clarification. Thanks for your help, Max
  4. Hi there, Line of sight rules say: "If at least one of the sight lines between two objects is unblocked, the objects have LoS to each other. If all the sight lines are blocked, the two objects may not have LoS to each other." So reciprocal line of sight it seems. Shadow rules say: "When drawing sight lines from one model to another, if either model is in the Shadow of terrain with Height equal to or greater than the Size of that model (even partially), any sight lines that pass through the terrain generating that Shadow are blocked." And: "When drawing sight lines, a model standing on terrain that is casting a Shadow ignores that terrain (and its Shadow) if any single sight line drawn between the two objects passes through 1" or less of that terrain." This last exception and the way it's written makes it feel like only the guy (Alice) on top of the terrain can ignore that terrain and its shadow, thus giving it line of sight to somebody (Bob) standing down in that terrain's shadow. But the exception not applying to Bob would mean he does not have line of sight to Alice. Hence not reciprocal ? Is it just a misunderstanding or there is indeed an exception to the reciprocal line of sight rules ? Thanks for your help ! Max
  5. Anna Lovelace can Remote Detonator herself provided there is a friendly scheme within 3" and a friendly Von Schtook Stargazer on the board. I'm not sure if it was intentional but you added a "then" after the "and" in your example, which to me, as a non native english speaker, removes all ambiguity about the timing. I felt ambiguity in the case of Remote Detonator because of the lack of this "then". Anyway, I got the answer. Thanks a lot for your help ! Max
  6. Hi chaps, When there is a "this AND that", does this always resolves before that or is it simultaneous ? An example : Remote Detonator says : "[...]. Then kill the target and this model draws a card." If a model targets itself with that action, would it draw a card ? Thanks for your help ! Max
  7. Hi, Some models have abilities that let them be considered as markers by other models like the passive ability "Animated Remains" on Corpse Curator or the tactical action "Mudslide" of the Kurgan. 1- Would one, none or both of this abilities make this model qualify as one of the required to score the Reveal part of Research Mission ? (provided there is a model within 4" and Los and 2 other markers that qualify for said model) 2- If yes, would the model with the ability be able to count itself as one of the markers and score Research Mission by itself (provided there are 2 other markers within 4" and LOS) Thanks for your help, Max
  8. Related question : let's say I have 2 Underbrush markers 1" appart from one another. The Boar starts a move within the first marker, but not in the second one. At some point during this move, it enters the second marker while its base is still overlapping the first one. Would that trigger its place ability ? Thanks for your help, Max
  9. Hi there, English is not my first language and I am not sure what "When this model moves into Severe Terrain [...]" means. Is it ? 1 - He enters Severe Terrain (he was not in Severe Terrain and now he is) 2 - He moves while in Severe Terrain (regardless if he was in Severe Terrain before or not, he moves at least a tiny bit and part of its base is in Severe Terrain) Thanks for your help, Max
