I'm returning to malifaux since I quit in early M2. I've decided to pick up Sandeep because I like options and all the elementals give me flexibility without having to grab a whole new crew. After a couple games I'm doing fairlywell, but I know there are a couple crews that seriously penalize you if you focus which would break a lot of my synergies. Can someone point out what masters\keywords I should take note of. I'll prep a couple non-synergy crew options In case I see them coming. I'm starting with Academic, Wildfire and elemental keywords, skipping metal gamin\elemental. Kearis is mostly there since the fire gamin come with her.

I'm returning to Malifaux after a long hiatus, and am remaking all my tokens. Does any one recall the name of the font Wyrd uses. I already found Ratty's old font which has a lot of the M1-2 malifaux icons, but it doesn't have the stylized text.

I'm looking at returning to Malifaux since I stopped playing. when M3 came out. At the time I had about 14-15 masters. I'm looking at keeping my collection to a smaller subset this time, I'm still regularly playing another game. I'm looking at starting with Sandeep with elementals. If I can play regularly moving into kaeris. I'm looking at buying boxes in this order, Can you tell me if my sequence makes since, or am I putting bad models before good models. Start Sandeep Core box Peer Review Poisoned storm + A proxy for four wind Golem (Ashes & Dust??) Expansion Order Arcane fate. Cold as Ice Burning Bridges Kaeris Core Box or (Embrace the embers + Fire gamin in old packaging) Mechanical Rider or other versatile. In general Arcane Fate box looks solid, but doesn't fully synergize with masters. But a solid beat stick, and free model sounds good. I think the fire gamin\golems look better than the ice once, but it's a single box. The metal elementals don't really interest me. Am I missing something? When I look at Kaeris lists I see some Peer review models being used.
