  1. Like I know students of all is pretty big but I'm not seeing the macro of how he wins. Interested in any experiences, example lists or even just really good dojo.
  2. I know the rules for copying-using other actions has changed now you can ignore triggers that name models/upgrades. What are the more significant actions in arcanists that cassandra can now copy? Whats in your jank tank?
  3. Looking to add the Maori performer to my squad, anyone got any ideas on what model to base a conversion on?
  4. The other change we need to be aware of is the slam action meaning that Hoffman2 Pylons can be moved by the opponent. No idea how a malifaux rat is suplexing a massive pylon, but here we are.
  5. Pretty sure you cant target strategy markers outside some very specific actions, interact being one of them. EDIT: you cannot target them as per paragraph 2 of the section "Strategy Markers" on pg 28 of the rulebook.
  6. It specifies terrain markers, not terrain. So you cant tunnel to just normal terrain.
  7. I don't think molemen change much. They are only useful if your opponent puts out terrain markers. You have the same issue as before where they have to set up their own network. Unsure if making tunnels for marcus's beasts is useful as you already have access to plenty of movement for them already. When they are competing with the eagle for usefulness I think its still a no brainer which one to bring. Agree on the network of tunnel wording, unsure why you cant unbury next to a literal marker representing a tunnel. I think Neil was changed so you don't have a possible 4AP focus 2 dickhead with Mei Feng2 in one turn. Its still possible but you need to give him fast then 2 focus in another turn. Don't know why we got another marker removal action in a crew that has access to blown apart. Should have been somewhere else. I like the steel driver change. kaeris2 change was needed. I'm fine with it because it also affects poison damage cap. good change overall.
  8. The upgrade to harsh winter meaning enemies don't get cover from your ice pillars is massive. It cannot be overstated how drastically this changes her.
  9. New errata is out and raspy1 had been touched significantly. What's everyone's thoughts?
  10. I've got an upcoming tournament and am looking for some advice from the hive mind. The tournament is a little different than normal. It's single master for all three rounds, and you cannot hire more than 15 ss of versatile or OOK models (the OOK cost or any upgrades don't count to this limit) e.g. you can take mech rider and medical automaton. Our current meta is newish and we prefer these rules for now to 1. not overwhelm new players and 2. New players with small model pools don't get disadvantaged. Assume I have the entire Arcanist collection, what master would you go for and what would your lists be for each of the following games? Round 1 Strategy: Symbols of Authority Deployment: Wedge Schemes: Bait and Switch, Let Them Bleed, Outflank, Catch and Release, Death Beds Round 2 Strategy: Turf War Deployment: Corner Schemes: Hidden Martyrs, Research Mission, Vendetta, Spread Them Out, Catch and Release Round 3 Strategy: Break the Line Deployment: Standard Schemes: Claim Jump, Assassinate, Breakhrough, Detonate Charges, Spread Them Out
