  1. So you can: * Charge -> Gen the Engulf * If it fail, try to engulf again That's cool
  2. Great ! And why it's not updated in the app ? (if you have an idea)
  3. Surveyor's Geomancy markers are destructible Jedza's Waystone markers aren't I consider the first one being the truth and the last a mistake... That would be amazing it would be fixed before it get in production ?

đź‘‹ I'm amazed by your creation. The conversion and the painting ... đź‘Ś I tried to do rain as well here: I would love to see how I could improve it as I'm not so so happy with how it came out. Would you share your secret ?

Thank you all for the nice comments I restarted painting and playing about a year and a half I think ... after 10 years of break. And I picked Malifaux of course. It was my first Diorama and my first entry in a contest ! I'm not so happy with the water effect ... I think it was better without ? You know that you shouldn't try something new for a contest, and yet you do it, right ? The is another diorama with rain the overachiver category. I'll ask there for advice. For the background, it's quite the opposite. I paint sometimes acrylic on canvas, so it was "easy" to make this part right. Next diorama I'll try something more ambitious on that. Overall, it was a work on constraint has I wanted to join the contest, but didn't got any spare model or time to order something. So I built around what I got. The only exception was the fishing line I bough. So yes, got a bunch of red flower that I never new what to do with and ... wyrd called for it! Thanks for all the other participants, really fun to see the different ideas that came around. And I really liked this overachiver category thingy. I guess it gaves motivation for many people to participate. đź’–
  6. Ha yea ... So I learned something today. Thanks ! For my opinion only, I would agree with you 100%. The explanation is over the top as you mentioned. And also because this ruling is just cutting out so many interactions that seam designed this way... However this point is still quite unclear for many people. You know what, I'll send this thread to the organiser of my club so this way we can agree on something.
  7. The Yaksha can jump the full 6" but he has to arrive in base contact with the Moorwraith: Other friendly seeker models may treat this model as a severe impassible terrain marker The Yaksha is a friendly seeker, so fall in this category Other models treat terrain area within 2 of this model as Severe You are in the 1st category, so not "Other models" Also, base on this document (not it's not an official FAQ), there is a point about https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Z6jmZUtGXBxx31gHywREs95h-26js4maH0JBsBLWRRU/edit Now that explanation is odd to me, but I prefer to have a consensus rather than nothing and argue during the game ... So, taking that point in, I think it would apply the same here, the Yaksha need to be in base contact, both for the heal and the jump So, only in base contact with the model (Kurgan or Moorwraith) I'm waiting after Wyrd to officially clarify this point of rule 🙏
  8. An even if you walk from one aura to another, it would be triggered once: p36 of the manual
  9. Wow, that's really useful ! I had this drawing to my collection of clarification cards
  10. So I did ask not so long ago on the official discord. A good fellow pointed me at this document: MWS Rulings and FAQ Keep in mind it's not an official FAQ from wyrd! It says : The explanation is over the top for me, but ... who am I to tell what is wyrd or not ?
  11. I'm not sure about the Moorwraith at 2". The 2" aura is for the ennemies ... So you'll need to get the moorwraith in base contact with a model and the Yaksha in base contact with the moorwraith ... Looks like star aligned. But a Crypsis Corp may help spreading a 3" extra aura ...
  12. @le_wahou I can give a hand. But I already shared my ideas on the french Malifaux discord
  13. Hello 👋, I have a lot of questions regarding Anya's ability “Expansionist”. I’ll start from obvious to I-have-no-Idea : If you already are in base contact with a scheme marker, if you take the interact action, you still take the 1 dmg, right ? The hazardous dmg is taken at the end of the action (even if the token was removed during the action) ? The wording says ”[…] and the area with 1” of those scheme markers as Hazardous.”, not "Hazardous Terrain". "incorporeal" ability says “is unaffected by Hazardous Terrain”. Does the area is a terrain ? IE: can incorporeal ignore it ? Is the scheme marker now a terrain ? Is the area of 1” a separated terrain ? Is both the scheme and the area around the same terrain ? Depending on the last 3 questions, can Jedza with “Life of earth” can target : Just the scheme marker The scheme + the aura as one The scheme and the aura If Grave Goo (as an enemy) is in base contact with the 1” aura, is the aura now impacting Anya crew (when it was not before the goo step on it) ? Some cases will probably never happen, but everything is kind of intertwined ... And in this game, every small details count so. Thanks for clarifying ;)
  14. I really don't like the split solution, sounds unnatural. But what about having the reach of the capacity to be max 6" ? If I target a river, from the contact point with the river, it then will be max 6" to touch the targets. Same for a building wall, 6" along it max. What do you think about this ?
  15. That's interesting ... I'll start to work with that. @Adran I did re-read the terrain rules. Splitting a river in sections sounds strange ... how do you decide the length of such section ? Is there some famous Malifaux tournaments ? I think asking to organiser the way they design table can bring some ideas. They sure have come around this topic ? May be I should be looking at it in a different way: The terrain, in the addition to the scenario, is also a parameter to pick the master. - on a light busy table, a gun line is better - on a busy table, a close combat or flying crew has advantage - on a table with big/long terrain, crew with terrain based attack has advantage May be also, in term of gameplay, it's not that's crazy advantage. You can still cross the river, just don't stay in it ? I'm happy anyway to start my first post with a question that is not too stupid
