So Ive been making these videos about Malifaux lore for a while, but they kind of all presume that the viewer knows a bit about the setting. Knowing that, I started making a few videos on introducing folks to the lore, that do not require any preexisting knowledge. I also did a video on what to buy when you're trying to get in.
These are all the types of resources I wish I had when I was getting into the game, and the types of things I want as tools to show potential new players.
My question is, what other types of content do you think would be helpful to recruit new players, or help ease the process for people who are just getting in? There are a few other channels who do some excellent stuff from a rules perspective (ill link some below), so that's not really the kind of answer I'm curious about. Though if there's a rule type issue you think would be super helpful, let me know and Ill pass it on to some of the other folks who make videos.
This is the video I just released, it briefly covers all of the lore that has taken place during the events of the game, 1901 through the present. I think it is a great way to catch someone up if they are new to the universe, and just want the highlights to understand what is going on.
Check out a few of these other channels. There's a ton more, but these are some of my favorites for this type of stuff.
