With the new Malifaux Burns book released, I decided to play my first title master, The Dreamer Insomniac. I lost, 3-5, but only about 30% of my problem was bad flips. I probably should've taken more models with the lucid dreams bonus action, and Lady Yume. In other words, time to do some more building, LOL. I'm still learning how to use the sleepless wonder, but it seems really powerful. with insomniac dreamer, you can build a bad to the bone control hand over the course of 2 turns, or 1 if you activate the dreamer last. plus you can take Lady Yume, instead of Chompy, because you can summon Chompy with a masks trigger on an attack action! combine that with some scheme running tactical abilities, and voila! you have a very well rounded master. The only drawback IMO is that Dreamer Insomniac doesn't deal much damage, so not exactly a power house when it comes to that. You'll have to try to keep your minions alive long enough to outscore your opponent. also, don't know if you'd want to have a SS pool bigger than about 4-6 with this crew. I know, big words for someone who has only played the crew once, LOL. So, am I way off? let me know, and as always happy gaming!

I usually take wild boars for their speed, but they don't have much survivability. they start with about 6 health so, growing up a wild boar, into a warpig, can be useful, especially with Ulix's bonus action that will let all pigs within 6 heal 2. I have a lot of problems playing ulix against guild and ressers. so from what I remember new Title Ulix has/ can give nearby pigs extra mobility, which can be very useful when running around and scheming, or charging a gunline when you need to. I'm by no means an expert, and am getting back into these forums for the first time in over a year. happy gaming everyone!

Pirates/ seafaring crews are super cool, and I would love to see more of them. Saw this post and thought that the society will probably have societal guardians. beings who are keepers of strange and powerful relics which give them powers, not unlike what you are talking about. "the invisible man" for example could wear a medallion or something granting them an evasion/stealth ability. maybe a jekyll/hyde character with a replacement mechanic. So yeah, I am totally agreeing with you on this.

Definitely Perditas crew ( Family Keyword), because they are well rounded, and have a good mix of ranged and close attacks. This crew is more suited for beginners Because it is pretty straightforward. Plus at about a 25 SS game you'll have some soul stones to play around with, making this a great Guild crew to start with.

Now that Waldo is famous, with this whole malifaux mascot/ fire-alarm-tester job, he's been ignoring me completely! Mama never had much faith in either of us, but I can't help but declare; he lucked out!
