  1. C'mon you have Iggy in faction that can drop pyre markers 😜. Hazardous is a hard comoditee in purple... Emissary is great though. And now you can copy hungry land with Butlunging. Edit : also Red Dora create her own hazardous.
  2. Butlunging will make web more often than Lair I think... I realised that they can also make eggs for a Gupp spam engine with Mama Z 🀣. Making hungry land is tricky :1) it's a create, so you can't pop them under an enemy; 2) it mus be created in base contact with the Butlunging, so next time it'll activate, it'll take 1 dmg...
  3. Really? He looks so mediocre... the fact that he has a TN on his attack make him really bad at giving glowy... and he dies to absolutely anything. So the only thing he brings is card cycling...
  4. I'm really happy that Swinecurse are now pig. I just bough then because I play Rocinante... But now I actually want to field them! The only question is Pink or green? I still think Frank is decent. He was a bonker murdering machine before. Now he still hit quite hard and have more angles. Bokor are good healer (needing a 6 instead of a 7 is nice)... But they're super narrow. A tech piece instead of a staple. I don't care much about Wong, but I feel they were really prudent with his buff... Look at OG Raspy (the other abysmal master in the game) she got much more with this errata.
  5. So Ooshawn, did you drink fermented sheep milk too ! 🀣 As a NB player, I disagree with pretty much all of your statements. Obviously it's really hard to have 2 titles with even power level. In tournament/competitive meta their will be a tier ranking that will naturally take place. This is normal... The titles did enough to change that tier ranking. They also makes some crew more viable in tourney. For the already powerful masters they tried to give some niche to the titles (Mama Z, Ophelia). For the less powerful one they went for something stronger (Lucius)... Fortunately, most of the title don't completely overshadow their original (Euri and Raspy are probably the exception, but their OG version were really weak). Also, remember that Wyrd have to design for all their player base, bot just competitive player. Burn is a huge change!
  6. Well @Maniacal_cackleposted this a little bit after midnight NZ time... He was probably drunk on fermented sheep milk and had a severe sleep deprivation induce by non-stop bunny sitting. Beside this nonsense I agree with @Azahul... Aussie 1 Kiwi 0.
  7. Insomaniac is awesome. If you still want the feel of a LD spam list, try Chompy as your leader (he's the true leader of the nightmare anyway)... Avoid assassinate pool though πŸ˜€.
  8. As a CR7 player, my answer is yes, definitely. She's one of the more narrow CR7, but giving sin on her melee is great... if it was not a 2/3/3 0". Both her and Pride have the same problem, but pride tool kit make him relevant... if you don't want to boost pride as well, change it to guitar slam or something... No idea what she need for Guild, it's not her real faction anyway. I'm fine with her being a niche pick though.
  9. Change her attack! 0" is such a pain for a 2/3/3. Make it 1" with 2/3/5. I'm not a big fan of frantic search either... is so narrow for a bonus action.
  10. I played my second game against new Moly yesterday. Some observations: - the movement shenanigans is impressive. -Baton is great to Reposition you own models and engage your Ennemy. - Cheating from the top is random, but when you have nothing to loose, it will generate value. - Forcing an intract even if engage give you a lot of play (we were playing symbols and it was almost impossible to counter). She's 100% support, but she does it fine. She's quite fragile though, so you need to relies on protected to keep her alive.
  11. Actually one of the rare upside of the Dreamer nerd is the fact you can removed high cards with less fear. Before, you had to be careful because Stitch were your only option to bring them back in to your deck. Now Dreamer will do it as well (but you're still loosing a turn). Obviously it's game dependent but usually I'll remove weak elwhen I can, if there's only moderate+ I'll remove the highest card if I have stitch left.
  12. Wow! They look great... I went on the website to buy the Bayou bundle... But you have to subscribe to a monthly payment. I'm not a fan of this business models. Is there a way to buy the 3d files as a one shot deal?
  13. Nice. Can we have pictures of the best painted crew please? Also the fact that Taelor survived a all out brawl puzzle me...
  14. What make AP over the top is Ill omen +1... with 2 AP your likelyhood of winning initiative is high wich is a premium for a lot of beatdown crew. If you put AP on model that flip a lot of cards (like Hina or A kitty), you're most likely to get some mileage out of avoid doom.
  15. Lead nighmare and more LD outshine what the dolls can bring. Also, their attack that bypass armor and incorporeal can be tech. Finally I like that they're insignificant in some situations (that make them great at murdering a suspect Martyrs target for example).
  16. Great read! Thank. I never played Tara but she seems to be really nice (and asked for a high level of mastery). Round 4 is definitely the killy round of the tournament. I wonder if you'll stick with her (you don't have to answer that)? Wedge / turf - assassinate vendetta claim jump death bed research mission. This is probably Leveticus wet dream...
  17. Madness are great and they'll make most of my Dreamer 2 list. The models are nice and super fun to paint (all those eyes are so cool), but they're a pain to assemble. The current version is in the app. They change how gamble your life and the ability to reuse cards from your removed from the game pile work. They also lower their defense if I remember well. He's... fine. I use him in casual game because I like the model. He's a great schemer hunter... You don't really need him tough. You have better beater and better utility models, so he kind of doesn't have a chair in most list. Having said that. If you don't own the spider and/or Hina, he'll work just fine.
  18. She's also a good anti-schemer. She's quite fast and 3 6+ attack is usually enough to kill ccheming models. But yeah, with my limited Seamus experience, I also have an hard time using her in KW.
  19. @Azahul: did you play the underpowered Anionus as well? You must be the luckiest outcast player ever beating all those good players wit subpar models πŸ˜‹ Seriously: please started a separate thread to document your NYR journey so far, your insight will be appreciated (my secret, secret plan is obviously to know more about your playstyle if I ever have to face you).
  20. Maybe it's because I play to much on vassal and/or with competitive player, but I never saw someone moving around severe when the optimal move is to go through it... Like who does that? @santaclaws01 cover it well enough. It's not that complicated to deal with severe. I mean when I began to play Faux, using LoS rules was waaaaay more complicated than measuring severe movements.
  21. What is the problem with the current severe rules (beside the measuring tools one that, personally, I never experienced)? I find it easy enough to use. Hazardous stagger is interesting as a separate feature on terrain (like a deep jungle could be severe, dense, concealing, hazardous stagger)... but it seems to brings more downsides than anything else as a replacement for severe.
  22. This is no acceptable behavior in my book! Anyway I don't want to derailed this thread to much, but I'm happy we don't have the same Faux community! * * * Back on track. The first edition rules seems awesome! I really like thematic game and/or rules that put special contrain so have to think outside of the box to play with them... As @Maniacal_cacklesaid, I do think that kind of rules (or something like a random terrain generator) should always be optional... But when you agree to use it there's no backing off because your opponent flipped triple hazardous pieces πŸ˜€.
  23. You'll get expelled of some playgroup with that kind of attitude! Honestly for me it's the same as saying to your oponent: well I didn't want to play against Zoraida, since you declared her I concede... I like @50 SS Enforcer idea of a random terrain generator base on the flip. You and your oponent flip back and forth cards from the deck. Each card represents a specific.type of terrain. You choose one of the available terrain to represent it. You stop flipping as soon as 50% of the board is cover. We could add size restrictions (to avoid large hazardous terrain for example), like weak = small; moderate = medium ; severe = large. Each suit could also represent a quadrant of the board so you have to place the peace in the specific quadrant (this could lead to heavily Unbalanced board though... RJ whatever you want; BJ whatever your oponent want.
