Hello 👋 everyone
my m3e app has already downloaded all cards. While playing or building a crew the app loads each card. If I am looking at a card and swipe up to view the next one it loads for 5-10 seconds. If I swipe down again to look at the previous card it loads again even though I already looked at it and already loaded it.
whats wrong?

@Maniacal_cackle Thank you. Yes that’s a good way to use teddy, too. I had such situations occasionally but never used it as a game plan. To me teddy was more like a tanky distraction. ESP if played in combination with vasilisa since he gets healed so easily and all of a sudden swallows opponents AP like Candy. So thank you very much for teaching me that kind of play.

No other master leverages terrorize like Dreamer does, and that is Teddy's best ability IMO.
Could you please elaborate what you mean by that. In which situations?

(from what ive heard) not really teddy, but zoraida works very well with stitched- or atleast, with vasalisa or widow weaver, shes the only crew in nvb with easy scrap in that she summons a voodoo doll and sacks it, followed by vas or WW using its scrap to create stitched
Oh yes. That’s true. I don’t play zoraida but often used puppets in Lucius. so that kind of Play will work with zoraida even better since she generates her own scrap markers. Therefor a list with vasilisa and a black blood shaman will probably be quite good!

I Never tried Zoraida with dolls so I don’t know. 🤷🏻♀️
the most obvious master to play teddy and stitched/bearly is the dreamer.
I played Hinamatsu led crews with teddy, vasilisa, Coryphee Duett, stiched and wicked dolls. That worked well.another idea to try may be Pandora since baby kade may hire teddy as a versatile and the stiched work well with the diversion aura of the Poltergeist…

Back in the days when Dreamer could summon stitched, I still preferred to summon madness. They were great then, and are great now.
They are invaluable as support for your melee beaters, just for the heals from their attacks, so I tend to start with one on the board in nearly every game.
ESP. Since the new summon rules. Madness are damn good schemers.

Agree. They are awesome 👏

Also where are the Lucius, Marcus and Euripides player to help me to complete this list 😀
In Lucius‘ case: depends mostly on the style you want to play. There are a few different ways to play him and each way has different options. Eg: a list with 1-2 matures or rider can move up the board easily and offers speed for the other models as well. If you put in a doppelgänger you can scheme at a distance all right. A list with angel eyes is mostly more stationary and depends on denying points and actively scoring on your table half.
schemes I like playing Lucius:
detonate charges, vendetta, hidden martyrs, catch and release, bait and switch. But you also can do the mobile stuff well (breakthrough, outflank) if you build your list that way.
In Marcus‘ case:
I like to play Marcus dancing. Last month I won a little tournament at our LGS soloing Marcus with the exact same list: Marcus, Jack, Myranda, 2x cerberus (avoid cc just go jumping and scheming), groot, initiate with IR, wotw with AP.
this list can do schemes at distance quite well: outflank, breakthrough, research mission, catch and release the initiate easily scores vendetta.
-
Mhh I guess I would take:
1st. Probably Lucius and go for detonate with witness, vendetta with Alan Reid or investigator with IR or catch… Or Marcus since vendetta, catch and claim can be done all Right
2nd. Marcus can do all schemes and the strategy quite good.
3rd. Mhh. Pandora, high speed Marcus or nekima I think.

Has anyone seen pictures of Lucius and cavaticas stat cards that are completely visible?

Good point about Hinamatsu - and she’ll bring some stamina to the crew. Although you won’t be able to Issue Command on her.
Yes. Therefor I use false witness turn 1-2 to hand out adversary and obey Hinamatsu with a lawyer…

… and no combat finesse. Therefor I think matures are way better.
but tbh I haven’t experience at all with young nephilim. My gut tells me to rather consider taking Hinamatsu (9p).

Yes @SEVis right but be careful not to overextend. I’ve had such situations against my Marcus crew several times.

No point in pulling punches, we’re tournament prepping - besides it’s only my third game with Lucius, and I’ve never had a sounder beating, as when I went all keyword with him 😜
Yes all keyword Lucius is quite a jellyfish compared to other tournament lists. Your list definitely deserves its title.
But then again your opponent has got all the flexibility and options of Lucius‘ keyword. Depending on the terrain and his style of playing his list, the game has to be awesomely thrilling. I would love to see! Good luck. 🍀- 1

That’s what I would go for using groot ook. Using the slink away to plop up wherever needed. Even considering to attack my own people just to jump n score.
and on the other hand you could mimic a 2“ melee handing out slow.
Ps: 2 matured with ir and candy… puh that’s a huuuuge bowl of cheese you got there.

NVB Lucius plays differently most of the time. I ain’t no gunline guy so I really prefere NVB Lucius. There are so many good options in versatiles and ook. And on top of that IR and AP are awesome upgrades to use.
that said it has to be mentioned that Lucius is a tough master to master with a steer learning curve. I would use him in a challenge because I played a whole lot of games with him and experience matters in Malifaux. -
I guess I would take Lucius (just because I love him) and let a false witness score detonate charges. Bait and switch ain’t my first choice but I guess I would take it in this pool. Use doppelgänger to lure or score the symbols. Then 1 lawyer and 1-2 changelings to get the key pieces up the board. Then I would use something to catch opponents attention (and AP) and put pressure on him: mature, Hinamatsu, angel eyes… all valid options. Rider as well as he is a decent Modell in Symbol due to his ride with me…
something like that 😃

To me the essential questions are:
1. what does Cavatica bring to Newcius and/or Lucius?
2. What does Klaus bring to Newcius and/or Lucius?
3. Do Newcius, Cavatica and Klaus support the Investigators and how can they be played in future games?
4. how do we deal with the more offensive marker shenanigans?
can‘t wait to test Newcius!!!

Because nothing ever could go wrong with that.
Or maybe Lucius just wants exactly that…

Klaus is made for (new) Lucius. Changelings copying the hand control action „information exchange“ with just like you may be as good as copying issue command or secret passage…
-
What I like most ist that Lucius can use down the wrong path which is a better lure and a coordinated attack which can declare triggers and trigger following orders as well. And with the scheme marker suit it might even be more reliable to get one more question with coordinated attack by Alan Reid ❤️

I also think gun-copying is the unique thing that Guild has. Neverborn Lucius would kill for these guns xD
Well yes and no. To me the thing i envy most about guild Lucius is Dr.Grimwell. The guns are awesome - no argue bout that - but angel eyes gets NVB Lucius close to that feeling... but then again Dr Grimwells Utility and synergy with staggered and the amount of damage and/or discard is so sweet and unique. next to the idea of lucius observing or guiding the mad doctors work. -my 2ct.

Marcus 1 is the only master in the game that has accomplice so far, I think. It is normally reserved for like 4 stone support models. Having it on a master wins games IMO.
Exactly. A lot of people are heavily surprised by (NVB) Marcus getting initiative each turn and kill 1-2 models before they can activate at all. Call of the wild with build in charge and accomplice is awesome imho.

Mysterious Emissary. When do you use our biggest tree guy?

I never tried my Lucius grasping tentacles exploit list but it is on my to do and sounds promising.
so far I mainly play Emmi with Hinamatsu or zoraida (friendly matchups with 2 Waldgeist, groot and Emmi >that’s a whole lot of severe markers to blast..) And I would definitely do so with Titania. Also the new Marcus alpha really does the trick with Emmi.
