☝️Mhhh well you could also take the erymitzy Boar with Marcus. And then again you miss out on the massive underbrush marker production system of the Queen. I still think Marcus is awesome in that encounter as well. 

I tried him twice and must say he is tanky (also because he can heal himself) and a nice movement/scheeming tool. He also can deny schemes That involve markers.
But i did miss a damage track on him. 

You can buy both models at the black friday sale afaik. They have been sold separatly.

Push this question cause I have no time to test it myself atm. I love changelings too, but have played it with more mimics to teleport to so far… so how do they do with only 1-2 mimics?

Oh I would have loved Hildegard if only her entrancing aura would be 6“ instead of 3“ this would have made intimidating authority a damn good ability. 

I am thinking about the kurgan:

-armor +2 so also a good target for Shielded. 
-good movement shenanigans (shifting earth and avalanche)

-attacking movement (avalanche and shifted trigger) to misplace enemy models

EDIT: I think shifting earth and avalanche are really good

But yes especially with dishonorable they are very dangerous and very fun to play 

the Point in using Puppets and others is to have a core list, that is less situational or depending on the opponents master/Crew. With that it is more easy to train and get the experience needed to play more  constantly on tournaments. Especially with the new variety of title masters…

@RegelridderenI also play in keyword. My last 2 turnaments were all right with that… I won 6/9 games with it and there would have been better Results if I had known my opponents crews better.
against some opponents a tough setup is way better. AND playing 3 games with Lucius in a Row is a pain in the Brain. A easy setup might be a way to play more Lucius. And more toughness is the way to go imho. 

In some cases Alan Reid is everything. His boring conversation and diversion can easily shut down a Coryphee Duett 1-2 turns. With 1-2 Stones he can be a huge pain around the center. And one more question with coordinated attack is dangerous as well. He will probably die but if played accordingly he does great work. And in your case, combined with Candy he can be an Option since he can execute as well. 

Since you do have the tankyness why not add some more punch? Agent 46 still is a good damage dealer. He can control one flank with a changeling alone.

Cavatica  is an all right schemer and also a good way to sidekick a changeling. So maybe I would try cavatica and one changeling.

You could go deeper into the Puppets but it may as well be a trap…? Then again sumonable stiched are promising. There you have: Wicked Dolls, Effigy, Red Caps and Stiched … and Widow Weaver?  Dolls are cheapest, Effigy is tough, caps are more offensive and stiched are best to be summoned. Mhh not completely convinced…🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree with SEV, it is a nice combo to have in mind but too much narrowing the crewbuilding/play/options on the field if used as a main tactic.

vasilisa can shine by healing the tough Puppets or summoning new after they died. Until then she stays in the mids giving +1 mv and offering a 7th LD. Hinamatsu, resummonable LCB and 2 stiched are capable of hurting things. 

I sometimes bring both vasilisa and widow weaver so that weaver can do her scheming and vasilisa can do the tough stuff and summoning. That does work well. But depends on strat and schemes…

you are right so lets make Dreamer work…

Because Dreamer has options that nekima does not. And to me, i prefere flexibility and nekima 1 is too much of a „one trick pony“ which I do not like… but that may be Personal. 
edit: don’t get me wrong I value WW a lot. I was just showing, that Vasilisa has her upsides, too. Esp. with other Puppets/Constructs!

edit 2: to me scatter, Web markers, summoning, incoporeal/armor +1 and handcontrol are the options I love about Dreamer that nekima does miss out.

I think you realy can’t compare these 2. Look at what Vasilisa does and WW doesn‘t: 

1. +1 mv in Aura 3

2. an attack that does deny opponents actions or make him diacard. 
3. Df 6 and armor +2

4. quite Good healing for herself or other constructs like Hinamatsu or Teddy  

5.  a free action that lets you reuse LD for example. 

6. Puppets Hand out staggered…

—>vasilisa is better suited for a Center brawl than ww. 

I quite like Klaus Norwood with Dora 2. his Shielded trigger opens um for a lot of options 1st turn

I went to the welsh gt and soloed Lucius 2. 

list was basicly the same:

lucius, Scribe, Agent, alan, lawyer, changeling.

from there i adapted to strats and schemes trying Doppel, cavatica, Klaus, Hildegard and more changelings. 
 

the Core was amazing and I got quite a lot of realy good moments and plays. After all I ended up 19th with 3-0-3. could have been better but to be honest I was playing Lucius 5/6 of all Games 100%  in keyword and only lose to reva 2 (who I didnt know how to play against), arc Marcus (lost 6-8 because I closely missed to score Vendetta) and euripides 2 (cause he killed my catch and release model First turn) fehlt quite Good nevertheless. One game (parker 1) I won denying my opponent all his Points. Kirai 2 got outmaneuvered 👍 and dreamer 2 as well… 

alan reid was a huge pita in all Matches and is definitely my MVP  

2/3 Matches i lost were Turf war. 
 

well it was my First international tournament ever… 

this List would take me some Time to Master 😅

I would give Hinamatsu the AP Upgrade (she flips a lot of cards…)

100% agree. I rarely use alan to Hand out staggered. His boring conversation and one more question are too Good. Esp with coordinated attack. So if playing with Staggered I mostly use the First attack of an Investigator or cavatica. And then attack again and again with coordinated attack, obey, you have your orders, down the wrong path. Sometimes i also use IR on an Investigator but That Puts a big „kill me“ sign above them.
I Play cavatica more often than Klaus Even though cavatica also isnt the synergetic badammm Model i was hoping for! Klaus seems better but i have more success with cavatica for his staggered is 8“, he has following orders and his called out can make mimics attack again (which can be any attack like hidden sniper, down the wrong path, lure, analyse weakness, press for Information…

I havent played Lucius 2 with vasilisa yet. 

Yes you should definitly do that. I played auch setups about 5-6 times in my LGS and had good success with it. I don’t know how competitive it is an tounament Environment but if you get your experience with it you can make it work (my humble experience in Malifaux in General and with Lucius)… 

I don’t realy know about Klaus. I didnt get him to work well for my so far. Or at least not to an extend that i would consider him over agent or Doppelgängerin. 🤷🏻‍♀️
 

BUT. Tbh and in my experience getting Lucius to work well is primarily a task of getting enough games and experience to manage the synergies and placement well as well as to know when to strike, when to score and when to just wait for an opportunity… and secondary a task of finding an ideal list. So don’t get yourself demotivated by Not getting him to work directly. Esp since you are a well known player with lots of experience… take your Time.  

Of course depending on strat and schemes. And…

1. Dishonorable and changelings do bring quite some mobility. 
 

2. against most opponents I use alan reid. Paired with the Scribe each failure does cost dubble (and with that many tests some of them do fail) and to Support these 2 i use a lawyer to Hand out shielded. With these I Go to where the trouble is expected. 
 

3. always Play strats and schemes first priority. I sometimes leave models hidden so they are Safe to when their Time has come. Don’t be reccless. Play hide and seek. 
 

4. the Crew has a lot of misplacement. „Down the wrong path“ is awesome. Combined with lure and take by the Hand and you can Play a colette Kind of way of you want to. I Mostly don’t cause i use my activation Order to Score if possible. But still Lucius can murder 1-3 models a Game and do his thing.

I do look at Adze as more versatile than Dorian though. Lure with Quick Reflexes is both utility and offensive positioning. While the Adze can deal some damage as well - and with Reid, there’s already one ‘Boring Conversarion”.

I also considered switching the Doppleganger ganger for a lawyer, but the Lure on the Doppleganger has less requirements than Obey, and she is Mov6. The other part, I’m aiming for is speed in this crew, and being able to switch gears. 

I always take one lawyer in every Lucius List. Tools and impassioned defense are essential imho. Shielded goes to alan reid and scribe most of the time cause they are the pita models my opponents want to get Rid of Early.  Tools to get a Mask most of the time (or tomes if i have to hit draw out secrets).

For switching gears and mobility: the changelings ar a very solid schemer and with sidekick they are fast!!!
obey can also „reuse“ executes (by 12“, once per Turn in oposite to mimic from Doppel at 1“ but maybe twice a turn)… AND obey can also help/support  on the Spot That needs it atm. I like the flexibility of That. 
 

i realy don’t know i 2 boring conversation auras are Worth it and pressure the opponent more tjan one. But i think it is worth a try since I played Lucius a Great lot in the Last months and my opponents learned to hate alan and the Scribe… 

If you realy want to consider Lucius an Option I would think towards boring  conversation. Its awesome and you nie do get 2 possible hosts: alan Reid and Dorian crowe. To me it seems way more appealing than adze. 
and with lawyer and changeling you can move Candy in the board easily.

Well depends who you are asking. I am little fascinated by zoraida and love playing Lucius! But thats Emotion.

One of the Main differences is that Lucius has Lots of cool auras. And combos. Therefor he is a bit more into semi-bubbling. 
Lucius can Deal with Heavy armor Targets (Agent does analyse and then everyone punches)

with the New changelings (plus Hildegard) lucius has a lot of unasuming demeanor. Which is quite good against some opponents.

I aint totaly finished watching both Lucius Games but was asking what it is you use klaus for. I like him and he is fine and all in my Games but I can hardly see him winning Matches for me or having a clear purpose. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
or to ask more precisely why do you prefere Klaus over agent46?
