  1. Interesting. I too will be looking forward to more on the keyword.
  2. Excellent. As I mentioned on another thread here, the Lucius story from the most recent Guild book confused me deeply when it turned up in Tales of Malifaux: I was convinced that I had heard it before - rather than I had read it...
  3. I am enjoying them as well (this one less so - alien viewpoint and interesting choice of accent - and no I would have no idea what a fish monster sounds like). I do hope the M3E Breachside Broadcast return with Ian Travis as the reader, Henrietta Meira is perfectly excellent on the Chronicles and Echo (though some of the pronunciation differs), but continuity of voice would be nice for BB. I did find the M3E tale of Ashes, Ashes disturbing. I was convinced I had heard it before and went through the previous episodes before I realised that I had actually read it (my first M3E purchase) but had heard Ian Travis read it in my head.
  4. Interesting points. I agree that the game appeared to be on hold. Hopefully whatever came out at GenCon (no idea what it was), shows otherwise. The initial outlay for the game appears steep, hopefully the starter set will make that an easier start. The figures are a bit of a problem. They are not fully assembled (like a certain undead game) and they do not have the joy of building figures. Margaret Belle is only the second figure I have started painting, but it has such a delicate foot that it snapped off while painting. Unfortunately you cannot access the foot to paint over the repairs. It has not made me enthusiastic to assemble the rest of the Edmonton starter set.
  5. And the second punk zombie. I only assembled them in March 2017. Its colleague was posted here in 2019. http://ultravanillasmurf.blogspot.com/2017/03/halifax-resurrectionist-punk-zombies.html I went with a slightly"fresher" look, with signs of lividity.
  6. A mindless Zombie (or at least the bitey half).
  7. I wonder if there will be an Alt sculpt...
  8. Ambivalent about the concept. Cool model, on a larger base it would suit a Fae "The Other Side" CASE NIGHTMARE RED army. As mentioned above by @Nagi21, it is going to loom over a 3 X 3 board. You could have some fun in a built up area, that rapidly got demolished. Very cinematic.
  9. It is very nice artwork. McMourning used to be the poison king. Not sure if Asylum would suit her
  10. And in case you had not noticed (which I had not)
  11. I want to believe. I am hoping that "with one thing and the other"* is just delaying the two player starter set, and once things like cons and shows become possible that will allow a fully supported release and lots of promotion. * Kermode and Mayo code for where we find ourselves, similar to "puppies and kittens" in Z-Nation.
  12. Interesting about your thoughts on the undead. I think it was series 6 of The Walking Dead where I realised most of the walkers were the same grey brown colour, skin and clothes, with just small variations in colour. It depends on how they are kept. Seamus is likely to keep them "cleaner", so signs of decay will have a higher contrast. Others are likely to not spend time keeping them tidy so they are likely to end up an over all dirt colour with areas of seepage.
  13. If you want something totally off the wall, you could paint them smurf blue. A number of years ago a German GW store had a smurf blue Ogre army in the window. I think pale human with a hint of green would look good, it is how to avoid them looking like undead that would be difficult.
  14. Nice painting. Have you thought more n how you are going to paint Vision?
  15. That is impressive work, both in quality and quantity.
  16. That is just brilliantly disturbing.
  17. Not saying I take a long while, but the photograph of the Warden sprue was taken in 2018. If it was not for La Casa de Papel (aka Money Heist) on Netflix, these might have sat on the shelf of shame for a while (I needed something else to spray paint red besides the cloak). A Riot Breaker provide backup.
  18. Now the previous Guild Guard was based to back up the Latino posse (do not tell Perdita I said that). This one is on an urban patrol.
  19. She is still waiting, though there is the Charles Edmonton box set awaiting painting...
