  1. I have to agree and also share that I have found the legendary difficulty of assembling the models has actually been a large impediment to getting folks to try the game
  2. Great summary!! I am also a VS player and your crew looks pretty much like mine usually does in an all takers list. Things that you didn't mention to watch out for when playing against is any crew that ignores defensive tech like armor or shields. Also they sometimes struggle against mirror image crews that also rely on strong armor, shields and healing. I love how a VS crew can adapt, I got destroyed by a Pandora crew when 3e first came out and came back at them with a crew built around Laz, Arik, Hans and a few Freikorpsmen and easily won. Again pretty spot on analysis of my favorite master.
  3. After becoming frustrated with a few of the mercenary models I used Barbaros in a Vicks list in a recent tourney and he pulled his weight. I had SoDP on him so he didn't get left behind first turn and would get the heals if he killed something. Not sure I would use it again, but would definitely run him again with that crew.
  4. Leveticus - He was a staple for me in second but I I have been playing Von Schill and the Vicks in 3e so this was my first real stab at him this edition. My list was ... Leveticus 2x waifs Rusty A&D Deso Engine w/servant Marlena 2x Necropunks Vrs a Marcus List with lots of nasty leaping beasties and creepy mole guys crawling around underground. We drew at 5 each I scoured 2 off Search the Runes and one off Assassinate (Rusty put him below half but then kept right on going and keeled him) and 2 off Turf War.

  6. I actually think this is a good idea to try a simple rebalance without reworking the whole models rulesets. would love to see this playtested
  7. Yeah this is game killer stuff, no idea how these got out of playtesting. not only are they stupid overpowered for their cost, they create a very negative play experience for the opponent.

  9. So what your saying is that your opponents should have to configure their entire game strategy around reacting to a unit that costs 3 scrip with a .5 scrip asset attached?
  10. I think one of the huge issues here is that cult players are making it look incredibly easy to hand out shaken tokens and get their stuff to glory. And what would the number one target for that be but the two rhinos with toughness attached which they can slingshot into the middle of their opponents army and start pulsing. Your stuff is dying and the rhinos arnt. To be honest I cant believe this unit made it through playtesting in its current incarnation. Its one of those game killers that makes opponents not want to get into the amazing system you guys developed.
