Hello there! 👋 There's no forum post for December, right? I'll (kinda) repost my november pledge here, then, with part of my december: same mini, new scenery ^^ I'll post a family pic with more walls, weathering is fun, the hardest part is knowing when to stop 😆

Euripides! I like the consistency on the scheme, and the choice of skin colors + red details makes it look pretty brutal

@Moinetbeard this effect on Tara is excellent!!! 👏 With this mei feng, the Foundry keyword is done! I have some wolsung walls build and primed ready to be painted and I really want to practice with the airbrush, so maybe for next month i'll do terrain, and a group shot of the whole keyword with said terrain 🤔 gotta decide what will be the next kw, probably last blossom

Hi there! reporting the October pledge on the last day of the month! I did not do anything for the contest at the end, I worked on a non wyrd model for it, but at the end was just fine and not really contest worth in my opinion Anyway, I did work on 2 rail workers as I said, I stuck to the same schema as the other Foundry minis for the clothes, metals and base. I only have Mei Feng Foreman left to paint (definitely for the november challenge) and i'll take group pictures 🙌

For this month I'm still thinking if I'll submit sth to the contest, waiting for inspiration to hit, but it has been scarce for the last months 😓 For this month's painting challenge i'll go with 2 rail workers, see if I finish my Foundry kw!

I admire your commitment to WRITE in all the pages 🫡 This month I kept working on the Foundry KW (and next month too), this time was Mei Feng's turn, and her totem: I changed her base, bc I love the dynamic posture, but red bricks and metal to me suits more the foundry vibe than wood (the breaking wood sculpt is amazing and I might rebase Ototo with it... 🤔 ) Also bc she's as cool as one can be, she deserved an extra pic with more ambient around ^^

This month I painted the 2 arcanist foundry friends, Neil & Willie with a total of 15 SS. One of them is intended to recover what i did not paint on July 😓. I'm not quite sure how i should introduce it on the form... do i have to check the Mulligan in any of the 2 months?

I've been out a couple of months, work stuff and a bit of burnout, or maybe just lack of inspiration 😕 I did not paint anything on june, and neither will this month, on august i'll see if i feel more inspired and will try to at least recover the july pledge. On my side I keep working on the foundry kw, this time was the rock hopper, gotta build the setup for nicer pics with my "signature black background" XD, but I'd say those are pretty neat It would have been a perfect mini for the Heavy Metal contest, but tbh, i had this weathering heavy schema on mind decided for a while, and I didn't feel very inspired, so i didn't submit anything for this contest, at all . Next time maybe... To anyone participating: BEST OF LUCK!!! 🫶

Hi there! This month I painted Kang for 9ss I tried to add some facial hair to give him a more interesting face, but with the braid and everything it ended up kinda looking like Sean Connery in Zardoz... 🙃

He is "majestic" compared to other gremlins, and huge, definitely a candidate to be the king, he can just bonk in the head with his wrench anyone who dares to defy him 😆😆

Hi there! Another Foundry model done, this month was Sparks turn, for 8ss tried a different background instead of my "classic" black tshirt, and i recon the pic looks quite nice! I have other projects in mind, but i might try to squeeze another foundry model for this month too

@Hawkoon @Trimasel IIRC the months that there was competition, it was allowed to count the entry as the pledge. It was just shared in the next month thread once the results were public. @Trimasel for pic posting i upload the pics to imgur and post here the link, the image is loaded automatically 👌

Hi there! Happy new year everyone (is it still oke to wish a happy new year? or too late already ^^ ) This month i'll paint the Mechanized porkchop. Plus, looks like my post office finally has my order from the wyrd shop and i'll get my "tricksy" minis home soon! So in the future i'll probably be painting what @Moinetbeard is painting, just muuuuuuuuch more slowly, and with way less cool bases 🤣 Also, i joined a malifaux league in my lgs, i'll play TTs, i don't expect to win lots of matches, or any match at all, but i hope at least it inspires me to focus more in the mali mini painting, bc at the moment i feel more like dedicating my hobby time to other stuff... Thanks to this monthly challenge my mali gray pile gets some love.

So, there we go! Here's the big guy, kept the schema, and I must say that while I feel kinda guilty for not trying a more elaborate paintjob, i find the ratio of end result/speed very satisfying. The vibe I'll go with the crew is "hard workers who had enough" so a dirty, soot heavy paintjob is to expect. So this will be the last Mali mini of the year, more foundry to come on the next months. This is so EPIC on so many levels, i love the overkill base, and the crispiness of the NMM is amazing 👏. Excelent job!!! On my side This month (meaning this week...) I'll work on the metal golem, i will stick to the TMM scheme i planned to use for the foundry minis, but seeing how well this mekanized porkchop looks in NMM i'm starting to regret it XD. As per the masterclass, i got the lucas pina "7 dwarves" bust and a set of brushes in different occasions from my wife (after asking specifically for it 😬) And some years ago still M2E my parents asked me If there was sth i wanted for xmas and the only thing that came to my mind was a couple of small mali boxes, so that was their gift, can't remember if my mom went to the shop, or she sent my sister (with the picture of the box so they didn't mess up of course), but anyway, by the time i was in my late 30s and tbh, it felt weird to be gifted "toys" from my parents. But hey, plastic >>> socks, right? 😂

Hi there! Today i finished the metal gamins (for 10ss) I m not used to work TMM, and was nice to figure out a way to make it look weathered without actually using any weathering specific products. Good practice for the golem, coming next month ^^ plus i ll share here my october pledge, the entry for the “danse macabre” contest my idea was to mimic Ghost’s “Dance Macabre” cover art (awesome song by an awesome band) just used brighter colors and added a jack-o-lantern as per contest rules, and the tombstone with the band logo as a homage
