  1. My friend and I are looking at the TtB Spell Deck. The only question I have is if the deck has all of the Spells and Immuto from all books. The description for the deck says it has all of it, but then you find notes elsewhere that it is 2nd edition. My understanding is the Steam, Bayou, and Quarantine books are not 2nd ed? So, what is in this deck?
  2. I have a player that has taken the Ghost Eater pursuit. The harvest chi ability says that when a living/spirit character dies when within 8 squares of this character, he can choose to consume it soul and gain chi +1. He can then add +1 to his final duel of any spell or manifested power to a max of 3. After resolving a duel, lower the value of this condition by 1. So 3 mobs die near him. He consumes all 3. He thus has Chi +3. On his next turn he uses Spirit Barrage which allows him to blow 3 chi at once. He blows all 3, and loses the 3, but gains +3 attack and dmg flip so my question is: does the Chi go away over time, or does he maintain it until used. A lot of conditions end after a certain time, so I'm just wondering. Could he hypothetically kill 10 mobs over the course of a session, have Chi +10, and then begin using said chi?
  3. Good Evening All, Let me preface this by saying I'm rather new to this system, but have the books. So if you can point me in the right direction, I will certainly read it myself. Here is my issue. I will be running my first game tomorrow. I've been browsing through the monster lists trying to figure out what I want to throw at my players. Some of the monsters I've targeted have triggers. Most of them are damage triggers, which I believe will trigger on my damage flip. I've found a few that don't have a "damage" flip. More specifically, the Guild Reporter in the core book. She has a Notice Trigger that blinds the players. How is this resolved? Do I flip to see if I trigger, or is it triggered off something the players do, like their resist flip or something? (1) Flash Photography (Notice) AV: 5 (10) ========== Rg: 5 ======= Resist: Wp Target becomes Blind until the start of this character's next turn. Capacity 1, Reload 1. R "Hey! Look Over Here!": After succeeding, every character within p1 of the target also becomes Blind until the start of this character's next turn. Thank you in advance. I must admit, I am thoroughly enjoying this system (and setting) so far. Scrootered
