There are plenty of players that play those masters and don't use those shockwaves. For example, the one that Misaki has. A Shockwave to be worth a master action needs to provide some extra value other than the classical 2 damage.

Yeah why are you ginns Shockwave with Misaki when you can charge to deal 5 to 7 damage on a single attack with her Bisento.

Orderly will typically die in 2 hits, while Samael will survive a lot longer.

I like him for scheme running myself.

Samael will die when you opponent wanna kill him.

I cannot see any reason to hire him when you can go with Rider for +2ss.

  3. So this week is been anounced a new model Hex Bow. Is a Minion (3) with two keywords: Witch Hunter and Cavalier.

What do you think? I'm really excited with the possibilities the new keyword can bring to te faction.

I really like the extra shooting this modelo can give to Sonnia. With the :mask King's Glory trigger you can make AN extra shoot woth Sonnia. And that can be so interesting.

My only problem comes with his bew abilitie Runed Quiver because it isn't very clear, so i hope they can explain better before the release of the model.

  4. I would't play a Basse list without:

-Pearl Musgrow (you need her for healing)

-A pool of 3-7ss depending if is a solo Basse list or Basse + Reichart.

I would like to play something like this:

    Size: 50 - Pool: 3
    Leader:
      Cornelius Basse, Badlands Sheriff
    Totem(s):
      Bernadette Basse
    Hires:
      Mr. Ngaatoro
      Sand Worm
      Pearl Musgrove
      Austera and Twigge
      Austringer
        Skybound Ally
      Pathfinder
        Flush with Cash

With Pathfinder + Austera + Ngaatoro's Obey you should get a good hand and 2 or 3ss during the game.

Pearl for healing when removing Dust or other markers within 6".

Sandworm (with A&T + Austringer's bonus shoot) hunting enemies scheme runners.

And Basse trying to be very disruptive with enemies. With his TN+2 and his shooting/shockwaves.

  5. Perdita 2:

After any Family model ends its activation can discard a card so you can choose other family to take an action (if they concentrate you Focus, push 4" toward an enemie + draw a card).

You usually play family with 6-7 members so they would use the ¡A por él! 6 times:

Perdita > Francisco > Santiago > Niño / Papá Loco > Monster Hunter > Abuela > Pistoleros del Látigo

This is the order, so the models can only choose models on the right side of the list. Usually you will use the ¡A por él! To concentrate and get the Bravado extra mov. But you can also interact, shoot, charge... So you have extra actions to get what do you need and score the points.

Perdita can summon pistoleros and if they are within 2" of a family thet get +1 to their stats and a suit each duel. If you are playing with abuela you get extra +1 when taking actions OoA (Out of Activation) so pistoleros can take Shoots with stat 6:ram for 2/3/5 or 3/4/6 if you flip a :ram in the duel. Usually you shoot with Focus because they get It so easy that means you will be able ti cheat severe damage and kill an enemie minio.

If a Pistolero kills a model you drop a scheme in btb and replace the pistolero with a Monster Hunter. Thats a very good abilitie.

So my advise would be "Hunt enemies weak models with Pistolero to drop schemes and replace with a strogest model".

Summoned models cannot score strategies, but they can carry the Lodestone to score Ley Lines. And you can use the summoned Pistoleros to score Spread or Outflank with Sly (but no the turn they are summoned.

I think you just have to play the crew without much card draw (unless you're neverborn). You might get tomes from lawyer, and one card from Lucius, and you have to make do with an 8 card hand.

You can snag Alan for Nefarious Pact if you need.

Yes i've been thinking and thats the most eficient game with Dishonored, you can draw 1 or 2 from Lawyer (you cam obey the totem or changeling for extra card draw), other one from Lucius bonus, plus one from Alan and thats It. 3 to 4 cards turn + tools.

Still has mostly the same issue, re Mature Nephilim and for example, Iggy.

We don't know why Wyrd decided to do it the way they have. But there's not a consistent corollary between the power levels of Minions and Enforcers.

I'd have preferred they just used Minion 1 for Enforcers, or used Enforcer 2 if they wanted Matures the way they are, but that's not the case.

Well but this is other thing. A Mature cost 10ss so even if is a Minion he is in a power level of Henchman but without SS. In the other hand Iggy is an enforcer of 6ss he is almost like a standar Minion in cost.

Most minios in Malifaux move between 5-8ss and enforcers between 7-9. Whilst enforcers usually have special and unique abilities/Actions.

I'm speaking about a general rule for all models but in a game with 659 different models you will always find someone who get more benefit than others from general rules.

  8. We have 3 (or four) type of models so i would rewritte upgrades to they can give more benefits depending of who has.

-Leaders (Masters & Henchman) get first abilitie.

-Enforcers get first abilitie and second abilitie or action.

-Minions get full card abilites and actions.

Down the wrong path and coordinated attacks are your source of Following Orders card draw. Also lawyers can obey Investigators, False Witnesses and Changelings.

Yeah, even the tótem can be obeyed with Lawyer but out of Changelings looks like there is no place for Investigators or FW. Am i right?

Ok i need to practice more with him. This game he has jumping across table getting all the symbols so i coudn't use the down and his bonus only once.

  10. Hi,

Today i played my first Lucius game (original i didn't like) and new model looks amazing.

But during the game i miss a little bit of card draw. Its true that i played with 13ss OOK (steward + Sly) so maybe with more keyword models becone easy to draw more cards...

But i feel like there are no mutch card draw cards if you play with Agent 46 Klauss and Alan because you cannot get card draw with Lawyer.

    What am i missing?

Can you give me some pointers. As I understand it, Nellie uses scheme markers to deal her damage - would simply working to remove those be a viable tactic to deal with Nellie?

Nellie and Journalist got actions to make you interact to drop/remove scheme. Also depends of wich Nellie he declared he can hurt you in diferent ways.

Nellie 1 can play to "obey" your beaters and charge your crew whilst she stunned your crew.

Nellie 2 plays more sharing conditions between his crew and yours. And forcing interacts.

  12. I'm new Misaki player too. I like to play most in KW and add some tech tools depend of enemies i'm gonna face.

    My typical 50ss list is:

    Size: 50 - Pool: 5
    Leader:
      Misaki Katanaka
    Totem(s):
      Shang
    Hires:
      Ototo
      Minako Rei
      Jin Baccara
      Torakage
      Fuhatsu
        Silent Protector
      Terracotta Warrior
    References:
      Katashiro
      Karmic Fate
      Wanyudo

Torakage is a great scheme runner with stealth, mv7 and a pseudo leap with a 7+ card.

With Fuhatsu you can support Ototo and Misakis melee attacks and if you fail there is no problem, you can draw a card or draw-discard and you get an scheme far away for torakage's leap or for any other scheme you are running.

Terracota Warrior goes behind Fuhatsu for TtH so he can avoid 2 attacks before you remplace with other model. And he draws a card each activation he made.

Minako is a great hechman, my first turn i usually try to summon one to two katashiro so you outnumbered your rival and get control of the table. They are great scheme runners and perfect for hunting enemie support models.

But i'm pretty new player with Misaki so other players can explain you better tactics.

I really like Crime Bosses and Thunder Archer's too so depends of the game you can switch with other models. And Effigy is great too.

I like the change to Fuhatsu.  He's still capable of putting out good damage, but he's also got great utility if you miss.  I'd have liked his Df and Wp to have been increased by 1 though.  Losing SS to mitigate damage makes him mighty vulnerable.

100% it would be great if they increase to df5 and wp4.

  14. At first look i was sad when i read new Fuhatsu, but i think it's the change he really needs.

Now he plays another league, he is a tool like Swordsman. I can see playing one or another in different pools whils before i coudn't find a game in which i choose Lone Swordsman instead of Fuhatsu, and i think LS It is not a bad pick but Fuhatsu was too good.
