  1. Sand Worm is a great support Killers. And its great with Rider because you can make him unbury very deep and bury after killing.
  2. Now that we are getting to know the new cards of the faction we can make our first list for gaming. Which are you playing? My first game since the new cards have been showed: I don´t really like Crockett because we have not enought Beast in the faction so i´m thinking next time i will try 2 pathfinders with their long carbine and triggers.
  3. I'm talking about a Guild Basse. In Explorers Basse would get access to different versarile and upgrades (maybe better or maybe worst) so its other point.
  4. Maybe in future Frontiers will get more beast. But right now, with only Raptors and Sand Worm its not enought to invest in Crockett when you can hire a Pathfinder for same prize.
  5. This is the opposite of an optimal combo. If you agree with play something that can happen 1 in 50 games and maybe could condition some decision in half of games its nice, but i'm trying to get the best out of the keyword.
  6. If we had more beast like Sand Worm to use with Crockett's Scent of Blood maybe could be an optimal choice.
  7. 14ss in 2 models isn't a small portion of your crew neither.
  8. As i said before, if the rival know how they work together, after the worm unbury he will put pressure into him to kill or bury again. If i play against Frontiers there is no chance that i let that combo happens, because i would have at least one activation between both models.

Maybe, but if the rival know how the keyword works when Sand Worm unbury he´ll attack it to kill or bury again so, at the end, you get a enfocer with worst shooting stats than Rider, than cannont heal using a (Rider again) and that can give you a card from the discard pile only if he takes a huge risk.
  10. I'm agree with Riders and Pathfinder. But Austringer was a bad Minion before, and now that we have the Riders for equal cost is even worst. There is no situation in which i would choose an Austringer before a second Rider or Pathfinder + 1ss. So we have Frontiersman, Austringer and Raptors (plus Crockett which is a bad enforcer) that you would never pick in games. Most of the with new Riders would be like: New Cornelius Basse Crew (Guild) Size: 50 - Pool: 6 Leader: Cornelius Basse Totem(s): Bernadette Basse Hires: Jonathan Reichart Sand Worm Guild Steward Rough Rider Rough Rider Pathfinder
  11. After some games and read and re-read the keyword i wanna share wuth all of you my opinions about the full keyword and know what do you think. Keyword abilities: Home in the Range +1: I think its very good. Gives you the chance of an easy alfa strike or a good opportunity to position models in an advantageous situation. Favorable Terrain: Anoter good ability that combines great with Kick Up Dust keyword action. Keyword actions: Kick Up Dust: Very useful bonus action for all keyword, you can combined with Favorable Terrain you get a model with cover and concealing againts shoots. Keyword Models: Cornelius Basse: I really like all his front card, his DF trigger + 12 wounds + HtK become Cornelius in one of the tankiest master. His Attack Actions are powefull. WIth the Tactical Action is where i see some problems. Stoic Nod its a bad action in a non support Master like Basse. Even more because you have a poor minion pool and you cannot target yourself. Maybe if you could heal yourself too or if it has a trigger to make more desirable to use. Claim The Bounty it´s a situational bonus, not bad but you are going to spend de to creat Dusts most of the times. My note: 8 Bernadette Basse: I don´t really see the purpose of the totem in the crew. His Grit (Frantic) abiliy is useless in a 4 wound model. I see the idea of the Bring It combined with her and the trigger to heal. But if i could rewritte the card i would changed the Bring it for the Stoic Nod action and maybe a False Claim to combine with Cornelius Claim The Bounty. My note: 4 Jonathan Reichart: The Beater/Tank of the Frontiers. Good abilities and Actions. But his Stoic Nod its a waste of action because you need an 6+ to heal 1/2/3 that means you will fail the duel the 50% of the times. The biggest problem i see with Reichart is that he has not a trigger or skill to make any extra attack. My note: 7 To be continued...
  12. What would you do to become Frontiers more competitive? I would redesign the Frontiers Home on the Range skill. Maybe something like: Once per Activation, after this model end its activation choose a friendly Frontier in LoS and push up to his Mv in any direction. Or: Once per Activation, after this model end its activation choose a friendly model in LoS and take an interact action or draw a card. Any other idea?
  13. If the Pistolero rise his wound to 5, you can use grit only when you already are 2 wounds to die and any model can kill him before he activate. I don't really see Grit as a ability that would help Pistolero.
  14. FAMILY: They really need some additions to the crew. Maybe new Minion who can be Scheme Runners and have enought surviving. Anyway: Pistolero de Látigo: Poor stats for a poor Minion. He has only 4 wounds so if you do Reckles he can die with a minimun damage. A Fistfull of Scrip is an abilitie that never happens, his attack action has a 4 stat and deal 1/2/4 that could become 2/3/5 with critical strike (the 25% of the times). I would rise his wounds to a minimun of 5 and give it to them a way to heal. And i'd change A Fistfull os Scrip for another abilitie to drop schemes without killing.   16. It was my first game with Rider un a Dashel list and i did't face Stock before so i lose. But i can see the potential of the list. Anyway, i think next time i should add a Death Marshall Recruiter insteas of Steward.

  18. Well, thats all i want to ask you. 😂 Do you think Niño Ortega should be a Minion (1) in Family crew? I feel like all the crew is full of enforcers with just a cuple of Minions (and Pistolero del Latigo isn't a good choice most of the time). So seems like is imposible to get full advantage from an upgrade with the crew. If Niño becomes a Minion we could use LLC and get Shieled +2 or No Prisoners for "Catch Them".
  19. Sure, and if the Dispacher isn't nearby you aleways can shoot an enemy close to the executioner and use the Drop It! trigger to get the scheme.
  20. Perdita with all the shoots that the family can do each turn (most of then with focus). Hoffman has: Joss + Peacekeeper + Howard + Ryle (ok, he is DMH but if you are aloud to use it...) Dashel, nobody is gonna speak about the guild summoner? You have 2 executioners and if they get killed you can bring It back to the game. (No more questions your honor).
  21. When we see the whole keyword we'll know if is a good option or not. But from now seems a nice combo woth Winston Finnigan.

  23. So this week wyrd show a new Minion with two keyword Seeker and Syndicate (they share It with the bew henchman). What do you think? The chronicle (geomancy) makes me think this crew are going to get enought healing yo create at least 2/3 each turn.
  24. One thing i learnerd: kill the Rider before turn 4. 😂😂😂 Great game and i want a rematch.
