  1. My question is about the Grootslang's abilities. In its "Lair to Lair" action its trigger "Strike from Concealment" states "This model may immediately take a 1 AP action" and its 1 ap attack "Wide Claws" has a trigger that reads "Slink Away - After succeeding, take the Lair to Lair action" since these triggers do not specify that the other AP action used cannot use triggers, does this mean that as long as you keep drawing the correct suits these abilities can keep being chained? I.E. - going back and forth lair to lair and possibly landing 6 attacks?
  2. Question about Jakob Lynches Defensive Ability called Hold 'Em and Mcmournings ability Organ Donor. Hold 'Em - "If an attacker cheats an attack action against this model, the attacker suffers 2 damage AFTER resolving the attack action" Organ Donor - "After this model inflicts damage with a ML action, it heals an amount of damage equal the the damage inflicted " I.E. - My Jakob Lynch was charged by my friends Mcmourning model. He cheated fate for the attack to hit and damaged my Lynch with Surgical Instruments. It triggered my Defensive ability Hold Em. Question - Would Jakob Lynches Hold 'Em trigger before Mcmournings Organ Donor heal happens OR after?

  4. I need help with a couple of questions about the rules that I'm unclear on. Mainly engagements and shooting/casting attacks. 1.) Do you randomly determine the engaged model you are shooting at ONLY if the attack used has the Projectile Symbol? (The tiny gun symbol next to range) or do you do it for ALL attacks even if the range does not have the symbol? 2.) While engaged with an enemy is it possible to use a SH or CA action that has a range but no projectile icon? If you need me to clarify I can maybe try and give an example. Thanks in advance!
  5. So I bought a Doppelganger for my Neverborn crew and its (0) Action ability called Mimic let's you use a 1 AP from another model as if it were printed on its own card. My question is about the trigger for that ability called "Perfect Blend" which states "After succeeding, immediately take the selected action" This confuses me because isnt that what your doing in the first place? What point does the trigger have if your planning on using the ability after Mimic succeeds? Does perfect blend make it a free action?
  6. Im new to the game so still learning here. Are Killjoy and The Carver legal models to use in basic games? Someone told me that they are not legal models and only used for a story mode?

  8. Im sure this has been answered but the few Forum answers i found for the hungering darkness attack were confusing to me. I'm new and just starting in Malifaux and have the Jakob lynch box and need layman explanation's. The few questions I have are about hungering darkness and his "Heed My Voice" attack. 1. Can I use "Heed My Voice" to use an enemy models (1) ap attack to attack his OWN crew and teammates? (I.E. I cast "Heed My Voice" on a enemy GREMLIN minion and use his attack to turn around and shoot his own crews GREMLIN master.) 2. After using "Heed My Voice" on an enemy model that HAS NOT yet activated that turn, will the enemy model lose 1ap when it activates because I forced him to waste it? 3. If I lure an enemy living model BEFORE it activates using "Heed My Voice" into a "Terrifying" aura from my Illuminated or my Hungering Darkness then will that model have to take that Horror Duel? AND if so and fails causing Paralysis will that model be paralyzed and not get its activation for that turn? Sorry if these dumb questions but I am new and still trying to learn. think that's all I got. Please try and explain in simple terms if possible. Thank you for the help!!
