  1. Pretty much the same: the aesthetic appealed and I much prefer smaller skirmish games. The fact it has an interesting card mechanic for resolution is a huge plus too. I bought my first crew (Lady J btw) because of the undead cowboys with magical coffins. My second crew was Pandora because I loved the avatar sculpt. Now I'm hooked 😕

  3. This is what I ended up doing. Its a simple conversion but effective, I think. I was lucky to get my hands on an alt Lady J!

  6. Well without meaning to be rude, I disagree that it's unambiguous. I've played enough games that such a wording could be ruled either way, which is why I came to the forums to query it rather than assume. Anyway, thank you all for your time.

  9. Hi If my model (say, a Terror Tot) is pushed into base contact by an enemy model (say, the Judge's Stand For Judgemnt), does this trigger my model's Pounce? Pounce reads "When an enemy model ends a push or move within this model's engagement range, that is not part of a Walk or Charge action, this model may immediately ..." My opponent argued that it says "When an enemy model ends a push or move", so inferred that it required the enemy model to be pushed but its my argument that the syntax uses enemy model only so friendly models don't trigger pounce and in fact the ability triggers whenever the pouncing model ends a push action in engagement range, regardless of whether it was an enemy model or the pouncing model which was pushed.

  15. Hi The Death Marshalls (and their pine boxes) were the minis that got me into Malifaux and now Lady J can get her own pine box, I want to do a conversion. I've got a 1e Lady J so I could go down the route of getting a 2e box and just converting that with one of the pine boxes from a death marshall in there but that would duplicate a lot of minis I don't want / need and an expensive way to go about it too. Has anyone got suggestions for good Lady J proxies? A bit of green stuff can provide a blindfold, so that doesn't matter. I'm specifically looking for dynamic poses in 32mm, so I'm guessing the field is rather limited. Unless of course someone has a 2e / alt Lady J they want to part with?

Hi New to the game and just want to ensure that I have this ruling right: If I use a CA with a TN of, say, 12, which is Resisted, I presume that I flip once and provided my total is over 12, then my target flips to resist my total score rather than flipping twice, once to cast and then once to attack. That's an unwieldy statement, so let me clarify with an example; 1. My Lillitu uses Lure (Ca 7, TN 12, Rst Wp); 2. I flip to cast and pull 6 for a total of 13; 3. As this is over 12, Lure is cast; and 4. The target the flips to resist against my total of 13.

  19. Hi, I've decided to buy into Pandora's crew and the Insidious Madness seem a good fit (and also look really cool). Unfortunately, they are out of print and I just wondered how frequently Wyrd re-print such things (if ever). The alternative I suppose is to buy the Wave 2 Arsenal deck and proxy the miniatures for friendly play. Thanks
  20. So; (1) Cleaved MI 6 Ram Also adds a Ram to the flip? So if a trigger requires 1 Ram, doesn't this always trigger? Why not just build that into the action?
  21. Hey, I'm probably being a dumbass but I've read the rules a few times and can't find the explanation; Some stats and actions have a suit symbol listed next to them (e.g. Pandora has a mask next to her Wp). What does this mean? I guess it adds the suit to the flip?

    Thanks for your assistance. I couldn't find the link to the Wargame Vault POD decks as they have been removed. But they are available as singles, so that's solved that problem!
  23. Hi I recently dug out my 1e Lady Justice guild box and my 1e Peacekeeper from the draw they were rotting in... I've got the 2e rules but don't have stat cards. The Wave 1 box is well and truly sold out and I've looked online for digital proxies but all the links appear to have been taken down. Can anyone help? I only need the Upgrades plus stat cards for Lady Justice, The Judge, Death Marshalls and the Peacekeeper. Anyone got a link where I can download / print proxies?
