  1. I wish I could click the "haha" more than once. this is brilliant.
  2. I just realized that "sloped Terrain" is gone. has this rule been sacked during the beta or was it lost in Transition to the final product? I guess it was kinda obsolete because it is implied by common sense?
  3. thanks a lot, that was our consesus as well but we wanted to make sure. so just to clarify: the distance of the model on top to the ledge of the Building does not matter as Long as the model in front of the Building is not within the shadow?
  4. So this might have been tackled in the beta, if so: I'm sorry but I cannot remember anymore. If one Model is Standing on a Piece of Terrain ( blocking, height 4) and another model is Standing in front of the Terrain Piece (and outside of its shadow) at which Point do they have Line of sight to each other? the whole time? even if the model on top is standing 4 Inches away from the edge for example? Since we draw line of sight from the top down view, the distance to the ledge should not play any role, right? (onle in the case if the other model is Standing in the shadow) or am I missing something? (evelation rules from M2E are gone)
  5. apparantly the retailer of my choice asked their Distributor and as it turns out they weren't aware of special orders. By now said distributor has tried to contact wyrd about this. Things seem to get into motion :)
  6. thanks for the feedback and the insight. I hope I didnt come across as rude or anything. I'm just mildly frustrated I guess I have to focus on the retailer(s)
  7. I appreciate that very much, thank you. However I have to say... "keeping an eye" open is rather vague and hard to do. There aren't that many local retailers, even in the bigger cities like Berlin and Cologne. I will ask the two local stores in cologne I know of but to be honest I really don't understand why wyrd does not provide a list of participating retailers. I guess this is a lot, especially if you want to list retailers in the US but on the other Hand: somewhere has to be a list like that. Who not make it public? the retailers surely won't mind since it's free advertisement. (that being said, I can imagine there are plenty of legal implications, why you cannot do that) Edit: I'd like to add: if anyone of my european friends in this Forum knows any european online-sotre that'll provide Special orders, please let me know
  8. so, regarding that: Today I asked a german online-retailer about Special orders. (fantasywelt.de) They are rather big so I figured they might be able to provide Special orders. Customer Service told me they won't be getting any Special orders. just regluar boxes and sets. Thats a big dissapointment to be honest. Ordering stuff from your Webstore results in at least 25dollars in shipping. So I have to pay 25 bucks in shipping costs (plus a possible trip to customs, where I might have to pay an additional tax) just to avoid paying 25 bucks in obsolete models (because I already own them). So what I am wondering now: Is that a blunder on the retailers part or on yours? and is there a way for me to get "Special orders" in Germany without ordering internationally?
  9. So that, besides other Things, had drawn me towards Gremlins when I startet Malifaux. I thought of them like the "O&G of Malifaux". But soon after playing my first games back in M2E I realized that they are only marginally like that. They did very high amounts of damage while being very reliable and selfsustaining. Yes, Dumb Luck was very harmful on themselves but Slop Haulers were so good in mitigating those self damaging effects. I always felt they were very reliable yet still full of flavor and comedic value. And during the Beta a bit of that flavor got lost in Translation I. But then again we have great new additions like the spit hog and Gerogy&Olaf. I think that this is awhole nother can of Worms. Age of Sigmar did terrible Things to Warhammer, if you ask me. They drink lots of moonshine (I think the "Trusty Flask" is much more frequent now than it used to be), they still have great self-damaging potential thanks to many stray shots and they still have lots of flavor.
  10. I suppose you'll be able to get single cards via drivethrurpg ? That seems plausible at least
  11. This is amazing. Thank you Wyrd! I hope stuff will be available not only in the US and Canada but Europe aswell. I need my singleton Alphonse and Georgy&Olaf.
  12. the Key word is Big Hat though ..................... But Yeah, that's the way I've played "up to"
  13. there are some changes, yes. I also prefer the Artwork but I don't think it's a big deal.
  14. So separate feet will continue to be a Thing? Great! :D I love the Art btw. I think it Looks like Misaki is done with playing games and down to Business!
  15. But keyword hiring is the best that could happen to friendly games and non-tournament players. You can actually buy a box an usw every model. no more "yeah the totem the Master comes with is garbage. better get the orher one. oh and you don't need the minions from the box. instead buy two additional boxes of other stuff to fully enjoy this Master. also that Henchman from the other masters crewbox is clutch for this Master! buy the other box as well!"
  16. I like the Art. He looks moe intimidating and not as slim/lanky now. Also saying that he looks static.... have you seen his M2E art/sculpt? The m3e version is 3 times more dynamic! Oh,Edit: i like the Coheed And Cambria reference in the title
  17. it's funny that you imply that @bedjy is looking at M3E through pink-shaded glasses, because during closed beta he was the one I had the strongest discussions and arguements with, with him being very forward with his criticism towards certain Things in M3E. But unlike the negativity some throw towards M3E, he uses the beta and the Forum to post constructive criticism, backed by batreps. And by saying "some" I don't want to throw shade at anyone in particular. I can see that many Posts in this thread are not just negative and I think your hearts are in the right places.
  18. I so love everything about this model! The design is so good! The juicy, chubby pig. The Struggling Bayou Gremlin that just wants this to be over and the BBG-Lady (Big Beautiful Gremlin) riding into the thick of Things to provide the Folks with her (in)famous BBQ-Pig-Roast. Models like this is why I Play gremlins and to be honest, now that we have an Idea, what the Spit-Hog Looks like, I feel more inclined to play it.
  19. One cool Thing about M3E is, that each Crew-Box seems to be a viable purchase by itself right now, mainly because of Keyword hiring. In M2E as soon as you said "I want to Play this Box, they look cool!" somone immediatly said "yeah but you know... you need to buy the neutral Totem. And the Henchman is garbage, you need the other henchmen from the other crewbox!" That being said, we don't know if M3E will shake up the Crew boxes. I Guess Zipp and Won gNeed new ones since Mancha Roja is now infamous and Wong got Alphonse LeBlanc. Ophelia sounds like a safe bet to me. And she also was my first Master
  20. Very much so. Even if you "only" grow it into a War Pig on your first turn.
  21. if you Keep on comparing m3e to m2e you'll have a bad time. M3E is a new Thing, yes. Some changes hurt, yes. Some are awesome. Try to keep a fresh and open attitude to M3E. It's worth it. Yes, some models have lost some of their individuality, but what M3E really does really really well is giving far more models a place to shine.
  22. play it and see for yourself. what exactly do you have in mind? What were those Little tricks? I can tell you, we have some very neat tricks in M3E Beta. Scamper for Example is crazy good. Growing Piglets into Warpigs is amazing etc.
  23. you have to Keep in mind that it's not just about putting stuff up. I suppose there will be an announcement on the Website, in the Forums and everyone has to be ready @ Wyrd to react accordingly. Also, what @trikk said. It's 7 am for them. Let them have their coffee first
  24. yeah and besides that his grin makes him look like a total a**hole. I like it!
