I love this! The scene by itself is good, but the birthday theme paired with the awkward smiles makes this an instant classic. It's like a bad family photo that was almost, but not quite, candid.

I meant to do that and then forgot. I realized the oversight when looking at the pics in the gallery after I submitted. I will probably fix it so it looks right in my collection.

Very nice, especially the way it evokes the poem. The water gets a bit lost on such a small base, but the OSL is very well done.  

Brilliant idea. I would never be able to pour over an entire piece like that, so cheers to you and your stones!

I used the woodland scenic water effects to make the splash. The "Rain" sticks were clear sprue bits heated over a candle and stretched into very thin pieces, then cut and attached to the splashes to attempt an imitation of rain.
