  1. Haha oh yeah I hadn’t noticed! I was worriedly I wouldn’t get to do a bust this year so glad I squeezed one in 😄
  2. Really nice! Awesome paint job 🙂
  3. I’ve had the bust for ages and can’t remember what it is! I’ve had a few people ask so am trying to find out - I’ll let you know if I learn who makes it.
  4. I modelled her after a character in our D&D group. She had a brush with death and upon her recovery one eye was totally black and the other was gold. We’re still trying to figure out what happened to her but suspect it has something to do with the Raven Queen.
  5. I tried to get some emotion into this piece, it came together pretty quickly. It was inspired by a character from my D&D group played by fellow Iron Painter Diamondsforeyes who is leaving our group as she is moving way.
  6. I just put some dots of white on after I painted the eyes to make them look shiny 🙂
  7. I really struggled for time this round but here is my monster mash. Hopefully I'll produce something better next round :)
  8. Haha awesome - I love it!
  9. After considering the theme and looking through my unpainted miniatures I started to consider painting some old Heroquest miniatures thinking that things don't get simpler than a skeleton. After looking at them I decided to go with something a little more recent and found this skeleton with a sword and shield. I figured this was pretty a pretty simple miniature that would fit with the theme under my interpretation of 'bare bones'. I hope you like it.

Surprised you didn’t make the cut. This was one of my favourites

Thanks @Whirler for the kind words and fair criticism. I was happy with the brightness of the flames but then when I put it in front of the pillar instead of a black background it seemed to suck the brightness away. Didn’t have time to redo the base though. Lesson learned for next time.
