Thanks to everyone for lovely comments! I wanted to experiment a bit on the dress. My plan is to make a matching Reva crew in greens and browns....once I buy the box. Tbh, green is there, because I didn't have any other tufts and was eager to finish Molly's...ehm...Asura's skeletons. I had never painted green before, I only have three pots of the colour. @lusciousmccabe I don't know who April is, sorry 😅

Miracles happen, I finished my pledge early I present to you my Asura Roten made from V1 Molly:

A mid-March update! I pledged a farm. To begin, I had to harvest synthetic fur guarded by a fiercome beast. "Sssso you wanna steal my precioussss? Ssssso sssssoft!" Things seemed hopeless, but the beast left to feast on her dinner, so I could sneakily cut off a bit of fur and use it for a thatched roof! (The farm is a TTCombat building with some added texture, balsa wood and spare bits.) Since the farmer needs to seel his wares and I need some scatter terrain, I made a town market: I really love making terrain, so much faster than minis. Especially since I got myself Agrax Earthshade. That thing is magic in a bottle!

That's a good idea. Even an alt male mature nephilim for more variety would be nice.

I bought a bunch of second-hand built gremlins and I am slowly prepping them for priming. The horror! Just getting rid of mould lines and gaps on the Easter bunny model should be worth 5 SS at least In other news, my pledged farm house is advancing well. There's a new green spot on the carpet, but you can't really see it thanks to the busy pattern. I chose my hobby room carpet well 😎

@misterfinn What an eye candy! I've always said we need an all-male alt Vicks starter box That skin tone is just excellent, also those brown-black pants.

@Boomstick I really like the colour transition on the cloak and the ghost. Your wisps look promising, too I am digging that bright orange

@Caedrus Hello, here's my completed pledge for 30 SS (3x5SS for terrain, 5SS for Poltergeist and 5x2SS for midless zombies posted earlier). Here's my Poltergeist! At first, I wasn't fond of the model and got her only to complete the crew, but she grew on me and I became a big fan. I painted her as a spirit coming out of water. In my head, she is a women drowned as a witch and now she haunts the place of her death. The tombstone glows, whes she's out. It's been a long time since I made terrain and it was such a pleasure to work on these. The pigs and ducks are from the Warlord animal kit that's a great bargain. Unfortunately they are true 28mm, so a bit small compared to Malifaux models. I am working on a farm to go with these, it's a part of my March pledge

At first, I thought the post was a place holder To begin with, I pledge to finish my Asura Roten proxy + to paint a farm house. I should continue on metal Pandy, but the sculpt is not easy to work with, so I'll probably just start something completely unrelated. Such as building a pig totem for my Nekima that's still in her box, that would be fun

@Viruk I need a dropped-my-jaw-to-the-floor reaction smiley! Amazing job, those blues are so vivid and those orange coats with mud are top notch too. Did you use pigments or just paint?

@Nikodemus Thank you for your tips and the pictures, they actually help a lot. The hardest part for me is the sharp contrast between shadows and highlights. You managed it very well, I'll try to copy.

End of February is fast approaching! I had technical troubles in the middle of the photoshoot, so think of this as PART 1. I did actually finish one of my two pledged minis I've admired the dark and gritty painting style with visible brush strokes for a while and came up with an idea for a Mali crew that would be a great testing subject - Reva. Revenants walking in the misty countryside, a feeble lantern light in the distance, an echoing clippity-clop-clippity-clop sound of tiny pony feet... I want to avoid gore, so I made alternative mindless zombies skeletons from a bunch of old bits. There's no discrimination: we get a nephilim, a mounted guard, a gremlin, Yan Lo and a guy shot by Vincent. I also bought a metal Molly to make an Asura proxy. She got a fancy base made from my old pendant stuck in half a litre of wood glue. Asura/Molly is still WIP. I'd love colour suggestion for the top of her dress and some dark skin tips, because I am kinda stuck.

@Thedeadclaw I'd do that if I was in the US, but I'm in Europe. Shipping+customs would double the price and that would be excessive even if I love the sculpts. So I keep on waiting and watching the second-hand market. Btw, the local stores in France don't have Malifaux in stock. Some tried, but stopped. I really hope M3E will revive the game around here.

My January pledge is Lilith. I bought her box a year ago, her minions finally stand ready, so now it's her turn! She's already assembled and primed and I have a colour scheme in mind: Leather coat, orange bodice, black pants and leather boots.

Hello guys and gals! I painted these at the beginning of December, but forgot to post them as I travelled abroad afterwards. Three Terror Tots aka Juvenile Nephilims for 3x4 SS.

Thank you for the list, it helps greatly with purchases and planning 😀 Hoarcats are December, yay! I wanted them for my Raspy, but waited for their M3E keyword before buying. I wonder if they won't be a pride anymore as they are listed simply as 'Hoarcat'. In that case the base size will probably shrink too. Can someone precise if I understand Lilith correctly? Declared faction: Dead Man's Hand Hiring pool: Any Nephilim (probably without Nekima?). Versatile Neverborn. Restrictions: Cannot be hired as a second master into Neverborn.
