gunsmiths are garbage-u will almost always shoot at enemy in concealment/cover, so no positives, no free focuses from anywhere, no def technichs; with cash they cost 10, carl!, just think abt other models 8-10ss cost
I mean there might no cover/concilement options, or we can drag targets out of cover with bring it or Howard heaving them
They don't need focus when you can get free puncture
And they have hard to kill, they are shooter so don't need same as front line brawlers and get - 1 damage from Fitzsimmons
-
Would cadmus be balanced if husks were once per turn (so no multiple husks regardless of how you do it) and cadmus second activation just had to be your last activation rather than last activation of turn (so opponent can still use pass tokens ect to go last)

gunsmiths are very expensive and u need add them upgrade like cash-so they cost 10ss? they dont do work for 10 stones; also its more useful to take toolkit, not steamfitter; amina works to activate vent steam and give howard fast, pushing him toward marker, but she is very resourses-addicted
So for 8 points you get a strong vercitile range component in a faction that generally doesn't have that.
2 of the 4 triggers are almost always useful and are even better in multiples and can be guaranteed with ironsides. Armour pearsing is situationaly amazing and then quick Reflexes can be good but generally not ax good as onslaught or swift action but is more likely to be a thing with a ranged unit
SS cashe is great with them as mentioned and can make other stone users in bubble (Amina I'm looking at you) more reliable
They also have a way to get out of combat ad a free action with a little set up (plus usualy mouse/medical autimatom are behind them keeping them safe) and target practice can be great even if we have the worst stat for it

I was thinking of doing a write up, so maybe I'll try to put something down. I think I've won a couple games with her in the series, and had one tie. No losses yet!
Kirai is on my to do list for a video breakdown

I guess Fitzsimmons usage is how much you value front of card vs his back of guard
Yes his back of card is fairly meh for a 8 stone henchmen but most of his cos Is in his - 1 damage aura I find

Hmmm... I'll have a look, but I am not too worried about before the train tracks. I'm more worried about after (when I have to maneuver to grab symbols). Will try it out, though!
Yeah, and she works well with the 15 stone OOK&V limit. Except I'm terrible with Kirai as a leader xD
Think we might need to swap tips as I've never got molly to work
-
I'd want to to take top left with molly as you have ad much room to use before you hit train tracks (and bottom left will cramp your oppenent up)
I'd specifically picked kirai for this as she was least effected by terrain
-
Plaag has a very very strict criteria for what's "good" and what's not
What works/doesn't work for him might be different for others

For me generally ironsides crews have a core of Fitzsimmons, amina or captain depending in if I'm more likely to get charged or shot and then a medical automototon with magical training and its models that are needed for stratagy/schemes/counter tech from there
Gunsmiths with soul stone cashe can be fun as if you stone for rams within iromsides range you can get double pos to hit, double pos to wound if they don't have coverer/concilment
Howard is also good, he can be a big target though so making sure he stays near ironside for her caught in the ring protection is important

I think it's a keyword your going to have to understand how it works in order to disable it, as you can lose so many actions too mikhail and his 2in range and caught in the ring
In addition with emmy shockwaves and pulses with duels arnt way to go so movement shenanigans and going for schemes which that bubbles are less effective are jedza weakness

So I've noted two of the combos capable of summoning more than 10 stones are double master combos
Maybe that'd the issues
But yes generally other than cadmus summoning that many points is going to require multiple severe which means that's multiple attacks not going though
-
It been an effort but it's a great team to work with, the extra TOs, the rules committee and data team have done a great job

-
Yes essentially the balance of some of the combinations of multiple masters was a concern as well as we were aware allowing multiple masters might put off certain metas (the UK meta have banned multiple masters from the start and I believe other metas might have also done similar) from taking part in events so we wanted to make sure we appealed to the most parties when starting off
This may be reassessed for season 2

-
So double masters have been agreed not to be a thing in season 1 of world series. This might change season 2
As far as masters are concerned would people prefer scenarios from latest gg or a mix of all ggs
-
The only modifiers to disengage flips are accuracy and other models
Focus, hard to wound, great sword ect don't apply

Nice
Just careful with the shikome and make sure you walk them on the ground instead of trying to fly into the buildings! Watch for blocked doors.
yer it is definatly something to be careful of but yer between them and 3 jumping points for lost love i should have enough movement for symbols

im going with kirai with 2 shikome and jakuna and look to summon a drowned and be like hay come fight be in this cactus/riptide/jakuna aura if you like

I think Hoffman is a lot more vercitile in arcanists and has a lot more options. While guild have lead lines coat and phiona (and the effy) , that's really all there is for Hoffman to support so isn't as much choice compared to arcanists who have, emmy, effy, the rider, spiders of various form, envy, metal Golem/gamin and corphee
-
A vic for 12 stones is pritty meh considering a vick I'd prob only worth 10 stones
Both vicks for 12 stones is silly
-
I think it's less to do with 2nd master being powerful, more to do with certain multiple masters are so op it's stupid and some are balanced
Generally it's masters who don't need there keyword or much off there keyword to function, or require counter tech and them being taken is hidden
So for example colette who requires none of her keyword and can just presto Chano 1 model at a time in to her bubble
Or seamus who's big gun will require some answers to his big gun but you won't see coming cos your opponent announced kirai or vonsctook
Plus you can get some barmy combos like vonsctook, kirai with wisper, seamus with wisper and vally with intent on summoning 3 further models turn 1 on top of the 4 premium models you have already

Well sadly my last game ended in the dead guys just missing out, my opponent lynch to deal with incorp and ended up getting a 6-5 win, i missed a symbol turn 3 which was the desiding points (4-3 on strats points and we both got 1 from both our schemes)
He took martyrs of tannan and huggy and leave your mark (I was expecting leave your mark and didn't expect to stop the first point) and I took vendetta (onryo vs tannan) and martyrs of lost love and jakuna (he didn't kill either and so I scored the end point with lost love getting a symbol and jakuna engaging gwen)
