  1. I yerh makhina played amazingly and really knew his crew inside and out. Yer I managed to take Pandora out turn 3/4 I think it was but by that point damage was done
  2. Yes there all part of same ongoing group of events (kicked off with fauxvember in November)
  3. They had neither it was all in keyword. I just got stuck fighting around a lava pit and had my crew shreaded by 1000 cute. Just had yanlo left come end of game And Plaag some of us like building our own lists, it's why I play faux over 40k
  4. I mean spiders are cool and all but it doesn't leave much use for power tokens (unless your involving Howard as well as a spider mech) but yes giving spiders fast and healing them is still a pritty good way to use hoff
  5. So yes the game didn't go well.... Between me getting pinned in my deployment zone (wasn't expecting Pandora to triples walk accross board turn 1 to get in my face) and over extending yin turn 2 (wasn't in range to get reliquary off and was hoping to hold candy up.... It didn't do much So yer 8-1 loss for ressers

  7. your going to want his core box Peer Review poisoned storm Cold as Ice and/or Heavy Metal (metal/ice golems are fairly inter-changeable) Burning Bridges The Kaeris core box (i don;t think the m3e version is out yet) And thats just his keyword, you might want the rider, Arcane fate (the effy/ emmy box) Crack in the foundation (the SS miner/saboteur box) for some match ups as well but

  9. for leylines the main arcanist tool are sandeep and colette, i don't know who it is your playing but if it was me i'd take one of them i've got neverborn round 2 this afternoon and nothing has been declared yet, i'm planning on playing yanlo and doing the kill my own chiaki turn 1 plan, with yin, izamu and gokudo being my other models that leaves me with 20 stones to spend on a tech piece or something like a dead rider or toshiro as needed
  10. I think colette and Sandeep cover a lot of the same pools and ironsides and Hoffman cover a lot of the same pools so I'd suggest one of the others
  11. If you already have colette (sorry I missed that) then kaeris becomes an option. Kaeris is the arcanists generalist and while not the best in any strategy she can do them all save leylines fairly well and her keyword is a balanced mix of beaters in fire golem and elijah, scheming in Carlos and fire starter and healing in fire branded (do note generally fire starter is worse than wind gamin for same cost as schemers, fire golem can fall over to dispel magic/toss in mud and fire gamin are a bit meh)
  12. Note if the Golem is with 5 of the mage with his aura up you can resolve the mages aura after you combine thus removing slow

So ironsides is a tanky bubble crew, which means your missing out on mobility for which arcanist have several options Colette are our most mobile crew and are the best at putting down scheme markers all over the board but can struggle at killing in keyword Sandeep is fairly mobile and our most vercitile master but his keyword is spread over several boxs Meifeng and Marcus are very mobile but both have weaknesss, Marcus's crew is fairly squishy and he can struggle to keep up with his crew, mei on other hand can be stopped from interacting with the scrap they need to work
  14. yer I'd still say Anya is still a lot of fun with a smaller keyword as explorers do have a lot of fun veracities and out of keyword picks she can bring with her EVS have a fair amount of constructs which they can heal up and get benefits from keyword and there master can hand out any condition weather thats fast or focused to friends, or something nasty to foes and provide a nice card cycle as well as everything of certain suits counting as 9s (and they can cheat off top off opponents discard) seeker are your tank crew and have synergies with the emissary but the also have some interesting interactions with terrain and terrain markers
  15. it wasn't unfriendly and its supposedly something my opponent does at real life events, if game doesn't go his way turn 1. (note imo it was in the balance, while i was set up to go in and do some damage turn 2, he had several activations to blunt that) its a shame because id have liked to see how the game played out, I think ressers have a lot of options to deal with Cadmus between the terror, and the anti demise and Anna, but i wasn't able to put that theory in to practice
  16. Yer it's a shame because I think I had a good match up and I think I was in a good position but the game was still in the balance Guess it's putting the game behind me and getting and ides of my crew for round 2 and running everyone's favourite old man
  17. well my game is over and there isn't much to say about the game as my opponent gave up turn 1 for some reason (he had messed up a exoskeletal connection on Meredith meaning he couldn't get two husks turn 1, but even so im not sure its end of world) id killed one of his husks and got another to 3 wounds left (anna black jokered her damage flip to kill it in combat) while my emmy had slowed his advance with two coffins in his face but other than that id not inflicted any damage on him, though had set up for hoping to get to shoot in to his ranks with the emmy turn 2 and maybe get the vally in to night silk creeper but he still had 2 eyes and ears a potential husk Meredith and cryptologist still to go yer im not sure what to say on the matter i think he had hopped for nests to pin me in my deployment zone, instead 1 was dead, and other was hanging on to dear life while emmy, vally and student had all managed to move forwards
  18. At the moment the only tech I'm bringing is the emmy for some aoe but not finalised my list yet I'm hoping between Anna preventing targeting friendlies and vonsctook turning off parasits from doing anything if I can get him within 6 of nexus safely
  19. Not played r1 yet (my game is tomorrow) but have yanlo lined up for r2, I think yanlo and yin can do nasty things as far as leylines/claim jump are conserned and I'm thinking I might just have a gokudo run round with idol while I ram the center
  20. To this day I don't know why wyrd changed replace with gg1, I spent most of beta advocating condions stacking was too good

So for nerfs colette and sandeep are the two that need looking at Colettes keyword is full of don't mind me which is incredibly useful in 3 of the 4 strategies in gg1, this is before we get to presto chago, sword trick and her defencive trigger (essentially makes Assassinate useless and presto chago is great for so many schemes never mind killing power) Sandeep on other hand is incredibly versatile and efficient with all the card draw and can kill and scheme very well if there are a few models who are a little squishy so prob needs some tweeks In terms of buffs, raspy and Marcus need some help, raspy could realy do with losing the discard for triggers or ignore pillers for los ect (so no cover) Marcus prob wants hitch a ride or something to means he doesn't need to waste AP moving that he wants to spend on spraying out upgrades Kaeris keyword prob needs a little widening, fire gamin arnt great and the golem can realy fall over vs condition removal
  22. So wisper on minions seems like a good idea vs iven same as vs Zoridia I'm playing vonsctook vs cadmus so I'm bringing Anna to stop some parasite shenanigans within 6 of her and if I get vonsctook within 6 of Cadmus nexus do nothing
