  1. Don't forget Rusty Aylce, with 3ap, she can take 4 shots a turn...at min3, Sh6...its dumb

    Emissary issue

It's really painful when compared to the other Emissaries though - most have at least 6Mv, if not more (Lucky is 8!) The only one that is 5 is Arcane, but it has Blade Rush to get an extra 2. Outcast's is by far the lowest quality of the set (again)
  3. Question came up today about Incorporeal, does it allow a model to ignore/be immune to all effects from Hazardous Terrain, or only when moving through said terrain? As in, if I deploy my Hanged inside a Lava pit and activate him, will he take 1 damage and Burning +1? The wording of Incorporeal: Reduce all damage this model suffers from Attack Actions by 1, to a minimum of 0. This model ignores terrain while moving and is unaffected by Hazardous Terrain. This model can move through other models and vice versa, I can see it both ways: I only ignore/are unaffected when moving through Hazardous or I am always unaffected, when moving through or taking actions while inside the terrain. Thoughts?
  4. That is very true. I just got Parker at Gencon, eager to field them
  5. I'd recommend dropping the Drowned, I've found them very meh. However, at the same cost of 6 (drowned are 6 right..?) I recommend Dead Outlaws. They're great for flank scheming, and Run and Gun (they can shoot after a charge) lets them surprise position and attack your oppononts. Also, the don't suffer from friendly fire with Tormented Models, so you don't need to dedicate your entire crew into melee, gives a little more flexibility. Also, they're strong in Parker, if you ever pick up Parker
  6. I think Arcs are fine, as long as your opponent can't field Raspy. The other big one is Ten Thunders, don't go anywhere near them. As for the other factions, I think he's fine. I actually think he's a very good pick into Outcasts, since we have the fewest number of ruthless models
  7. The amount of resource drain on your opponent is insane; lots of terrifying, Lady Leiga's anti-cheat aura, gets around Defensive tech by attacking Movement. So far, I'd had ok results with idols, bur reckoning is where I think he plays best. As far as schemes, I think he can do most of them, Outlaws are good schemers for marker based ones, and killing isn't hard. Monty is a great claim jump pick, and Hanged can play markers with an attack
  8. Avoid Ten Thunders at all cost, they have way to much + flips and ruthless. I've been running Daw a ton recently to learn him and have found its a super solid crew. The amount of card drain on your opponent is insane, so I've been bring some exact Execute capable models - Rusty - into my lists. Hanged are also insane for their forced discard and extra Upgrade giving, Guilty are just good minions, I've found Drowned rather lack luster though.
  9. Vs has a specific set of Upgrades - Called Equipment - that he (or Steam Trunk) can attach using their actions. The Generic Outcast Upgrades (Servent of Dark Powers, Wanted Criminal, and Solider for Hire) are only hireable during crew building
  10. So, will Gencon on the approaching horizon, I'm eyeing up new masters to learn to add to my arsenal of Von Schill and Levi. Which do you recommend? And what are your lists you like with them? I want be able to bring at least 3, ideally 4 masters for the Tyrant Tournament
  11. Of course, but its cute at least I caught my opponent last night out with it a couple times. Little buddy steamy killed a flesh construct and blinged McPosionFace for a coupe damage
  12. Also remember that 1) Its a business and does need to make money and 2) all previous sculpts from M1,M2, etc are fully game legal. You don't need to buy the new stuff if you don't want to./don't like how they look. All the old boxes are still available somewhere. I also know of people who really want the new stuff and are willing to sell their old models.
  13. Is the steam trunk allowed to use the attack actions from equipment upgrades? As written currently, I would argue yes. However, a totem getting a Sh6, 2/3/4, with Crit strike seems a LITTLE to strong. That being said, I'm totally gonna keep abusing it until Wyrd makes me stop
  14. Oops, you're right....welp I messed that up....not that it would have made a huge difference in this setting, but good to know. Thanks for the clarification!
  15. True, though since the Shield +2 gets reapplied when you attach it, it makes him a great cheap model to eat AP. or be a lone schemer. either way, I can see it being very useful in games
  16. So, I just had an interesting game, my Von Schilll against Ironsides, and was able to test out a very very very fun (for me at least) theory. We were playing Flank, Explosive Charges, with OutFlank in the pool, so I needed to spread out at few models to score my points. In looking at the Freikorps Crew, there aren't a ton of models that I felt comfortable sending out on their own, but I wanted to try having the Freikorpsmann as a Long Ranger-esque model. Hence, I took Outflank, loaded him with an Explosive Charge for the Strat and sent him on his way. The key, though, was I attached the Assualt Shielding Upgrade to him with Von Schill, which gave him Shield +2. This, coupled with the Equipment Ability where he can take a damage to NOT discard upgrades, lets you perma-cycle the Assault Shielding. Then, since the Freikorpsmann has a Tome trigger to heal, along with Reference the Field Guide to get a built in Tome, you can reliably heal to full attacking other minions (Survivalist is INSANE) Its not an insane OP OP combo or anything, but it turns a 5SS reliable minion into a legitimate schemer that will require at least a moderate amount of effort from your opponent to remove. Fun times.
  17. Do you know when the rules set for the Henchmen hardcore will be published? Or is it the same as M2e? (Or am I just blind and not finding them?)
  18. Forcing friendly fire and concealment would yield 2 for your model, outside of that I'm not sure if there are any more ways to mitigate (with ). Cover also will help, since +1 Df and a to damage would lessen the power of Focused attacks (either by increasing the odds of a miss, or keeping them on a for damage. ) I'd say try and bring more Stealthed models - they can't be targeted by models more than 6inches away, so that at leasts forces your opponent to close the gap. As for as pushes, Von Schill gets 2inches from his Attach Upgrades, Jaw Daw has a ton for Tormented Models (friendly or enemy), Zipp always works as noted. Tara can jsut negate it as needed (though that only applies to her)
  19. That's so gross....I WANT IT
  20. The changed Guilty and combined the two. Now, upon death, +1 to hand is auto and if its an enforcer or higher, is resummoned. They merged the abiliteis
  21. Yea....that one was insanely broken....the fact that they even let that go through testing was insane...lolz. I think Guilty are also in a really nice place as well. And pairing Hannah with him could get some real good results I think
  22. Yea, i saw a couple versions of it. At one point it was discard two cards to reduce the damage by 1 per card. THAT one was badddddd. I think the current version works, but could be very swingy. Crews that give out poison, burning, or blasts could mess Daw up something fierce I think.
  23. Like, its totally possible, but it requires a lot of effort.
  24. The secret: Don't bother to attack him. Just ignore him and pray to the Fates that you get luck! MUHAHAHAHA
  25. I'm eager to try Jack Daw more, both as leader and a hired-in master. I think he's going to be an amazing support master in certain crews. I want a Von Schill, Hannah, Jack Daw crew and laugh at the card draw (and misery of my opponent)
