  1. I'm looking more at the new changelings tbh. I can't decide if the new movement and marker manipulation makes up for losing just like you. Orderlies could be worth it for healing, now that they have creep along. Slam action and the cap of 5 on all poison and burning are definitely some of the biggest changes.
  2. Personally I use Inhuman physiology almost every time. His own attack is already solid and I feel I get a lot more out of preventing my opponent from cheating than I do from a better attack.
  3. The name is a bit misleading. The name of the upgrade is Trapped Within. Consumed is a type of upgrade if you look at limitation in the bottom right corner on the upgrade. It's future proofing, so that if they decide to add another upgrade to grave goo they can just give it limitation consumed and it works.
  4. Thanks. That was also my impression, but I wasn't certain I was reading it correctly.
  5. Som'er and brewmaster has one story where they go to a bar in malifaux city to have a drinking contest with Von Schill and others and white rabbit company is in malifaux city, so they're definitely present.
  6. Does Cavatica's look away trigger affect the pulse generated by shockwave markers dropped by the target? One the one hand the rules says the pulse is generated by the shockwave marker, on the other the marker is dropped by the target.
  7. I'm thankful for Death Marshals finally being worth using, they've always been one of the most iconic models of the game, for me.
  8. For the guild lawyer, specifically, he has Tools for the Job. So if you discard a mask you add a mask to all duels for your activation, if you then cheat a tome card in on your obey you would have two suits in your duel total, one mask, from tools for the job, and one tome from your cheated card.
  9. @dannydb a quick way to remember it is that markers that can't be moved or removed (turf war, leylines) are ht5, blocking. Markers that can be moved or removed (break the line, symbols) are ht0, concealing. All strategy markers are impassable. As for the advantage against shooing. Personally I feel that the ht0 markers impact me more, as I look for range 2" models, to deny intact at the marker. If the markers were just impassable I'm afraid people would get shot off them quite often, but it also depends very much in the terrain meta. I've found that when I discuss the viability of models with people online, terrain is one of the biggest factors for why our opinions differ.
  10. You're right, my bad. I missed the last sentence. That'll teach me to give advice after I've gone to bed
  11. If you drop more than one they have to be in contact with each other. The first blast has to be in base contact with the target. The second and subsequent blast markers has to be in base contact with another blast marker, but not necessarily the target. So if you have three blast, you can hit something just under 6" away from the target.
  12. @PiersonsMuppeteer hmm you're right. There's a disconnect in my logic. I'd need expert marksman on the model that copies the attack, not the one that has the attack
  13. I'm in the, only as long as the attack is shooting category. I'm unsure however, if a model has an upgrade that gives a trigger, does that get mimicked too? Expert marksman doesn't say you gain the trigger as an ability, just that your gun actions gains the trigger, so I would say it gets copied.
  14. @solkan I'm sorry, I didn't specify. It's the expert marksman upgrade from guild on any model with gunfighter
  15. I have asked the same question on the guild discord. If you have the expert marksman upgrade. (edited in as I forgot to tell). Do you lose the armor piercing trigger in melee if you have gunfighter? I would argue that you do because of the FAQ. 4. Gunfighter – When treating a z Action as having a range of y1", is the Action still treated as a (z) Action? a) No. The entire range of the Action changes from zX" to y1". Z is gun and Y is melee symbol. But several others argued that the action receives the trigger and a temporary change in type doesn't remove the trigger.
  16. Great write-up. The only advice I'd add is: Plan your hand. If you know you need a certain suit or tn, save those cards for that. Saving a model from death by cheating in a high card sucks, if that high card was also the one you needed to guarantee a leap that scores you a point. Also try to identify the two or three actions that absolutely has to succeed and save the cards for that.
  17. I'm pretty sure it's in the FAQ or Errata that remove destructible terrain is a general action. The app also includes it in the list of general actions in the rules menu.
  18. 1) Yes, to duel can only apply to duel flips, to action can apply to all flips in the action. 2) no. The modifier is to resist the action. A simple duel doesn't have a Resist. It's the difference between simple duel and opposed duel.

    title?

I would agree with you, except after the colette title reveal, I had a long discussion with other on this forum and ended up agreeing that there's nothing that says you can't stand in something that has the height trait. The only two traits that prevents you from moving through them are impassable and climbing. The height trait itself doesn't stop you from moving through it. Except if it's a hill, as that specific example doesn't follow the terrain trait rules, neither does stairs. Personally I'd love if they changed llc. Make armour +1 the minion only and replace hunker down with something useful. It would just require a rework of a lot of other models, who depend on llc to survive. I'm curious why you think Sly is useless? He offers a lot of utility and is a decent scheme runner. For 6ss I don't think you can ask for more than is on his card. Rider might be lack of experience, but if you hide him until the end of turn two, then you lose out on ride with me, which is one of his major points and if something can give him stun on their attack, then they can still cause around 7 damage on a rider, without too much trouble. Sure it takes a big card investment, but for a rider it seems to be worth it.

    title?

Don't know the scheme pool, but how come you didn't use sly six-shots? He seems like a solid addition to both versions of perdita. I agree that hoffmans pylons needs a tweak. I'm not sure if they would be more fair if symbols wasn't a strat. Personally I think they should just lose impassable, if you could stand in them most of the issues would be solved and destructible would be too harsh, I think. I disagree on pale rider. Sure his damage trigger is better than dead riders, but dead, as I see him, gets better results by charging in and taking an enemy back to his own lines (or far away from everything) than he does using his bonus. I might also be biased by the fact that all my regular opponents have begun teching in stun against guild, as the faction is generally very trigger dependent. And a rider with stun is close to useless. Regarding the survivability of title masters. Guild masters, pre title are mostly made of wet paper, except for Basse and Hoffman, they are balanced after llc being in faction, so they all come with a 2ss tax if you want them to last a game. Any reason you didn't try lady justice2? If you want a master in guild I think might be too much, it's her. The amount of disruption, damage and utility she gives is just extreme.
  21. Zoraida came to malifaux through a small breach, unknown when, but probably before the first big breach. There's an unofficial, permanent, breach that Ten Thunders control.
  22. For me it made reichart a stable in frontier crews. Mostly it meant I saw more difference in my opponents crews. Especially the TT and Arcanist upgrade changes effected some of my mates
  23. @Undercostedhenchman Ludvig is talking about a currency you could win in wyrd acknowledged tournaments and spend on vintage models and other stuff, not the faction😊
  24. @le_wahou Mostly I place the totem next to him and throws whatever LadyJ buries to the totem, so it's engaged by emisarry, that way he doesn't have to charge and can whack away with his greatsword with plus damage flip on something with injured. But he also have other uses. His healing aura is really good with death marshals, after they Bury something they heal 2. 33 to send unburies next to the emisarry. His own Bury is good for the Stat 4, but I don't use it that much. He's more of a beater/tank with a healing aura for me. When I manage to catch something between him, jury's arua and totem aura, it's usually gone shortly after.
