  1. I wasn't sold on grave diggers with the crew early on but they've always been clutch when I've taken them.
  2. Unfortunately, that step isn't really activation control since you give your opponent a pass token. Best bet would be the restless spirit, mourner or a grave digger (in that order).

  4. Maybe but with daw, i would stay as in keyword as you can. Tormented drawing cards is essential to keeping daw alive. If anyone, I would probably go with Anna. She has some decent card draw so you can pitch to keep him alive or hopefully draw cards you need for his triggers.
  5. How are you guys keep Reva alive? She's died in every game of mine. Max heal from burning is 3, you can spened 2 stones to give her Regen 2. I thought I figured it out by keep shieldbearerers with her but then mcmourning ran into her and one shot the shieldbearers (ignoring armor and htk is crazy). Even with the shieldbearers, her crew is discard heavy so you can't 100% rely on that. You are pitching cards for: lampad demise, drauger heal, Reva corpse candle, shieldbearer placement And I'm sure I'm missing one more. She has zero card draw so I've resorted to replacing Vincent with Anna to get 2-3 cards a turn. What am I missing that makes her good or survivable?
  6. I okay it as you flip one card and that's the damage for the ability since you aren't targeting a model but clarification would be nice
  7. You should pick them up because they have some definite power behind them for scoring. Dig their graves isn't an autopick but they are nice for it. Generating corpse is great for most resser masters. They can also score any scheme marker scheme easily at the end of the game. They can essentially drop two scheme markers on turn 5 right next to each other by counting the dropped corpse as a scheme. Also handing out focus to your entire crew turn 1 is extremely handy.. free corpse at deployment and then use her bonus action to hand it out to everyone. It ramps resser crews turn one. Depending on the scheme/strat pool, Morty might be a better investment if you're looking at dig their graves. Chatty forces card discard, manipulative means he will likely survive especially with Regen 2.
  8. Not really tbh. I'm not a good Reva player though. The only benefit is it's a cheap model in a crew that has none. Incorporeal is nice but I don't think it's a mustvhave
  9. Hmm.. that may be the case. I didn't even think of them having faction books at gencon early.
  10. Well damn. The entire reason why I spent more money on models was to bring von schtook to gen con. The book and his box won't be released until after so it was essentially a waste of time and money to rush through this. At least I have unique models?
  11. So my question on this is: wi the faction packs include cards for unreleased models?
  12. Raspys ability says if a model starts within 1 inch they have to either discard a card or gain slow. What if they are unable to gain slow? Do they HAVE to pitch a card? Situations would be if they already had slow or could not gain conditions like Archie?
  13. Yeah, my current plan is to use 4 of the models in the broken kit which should be able to proxy pretty well. One is in a labcoat like a professor = albus 3 rough looking guys with spikey clubs - undergraduates. Just need to paint them as undead and it should be fine.
  14. Fair enough! i do like the new models coming out though. I think I found some TOS models which would work and need no conversion. 100% wyrd, easily identifiable and unique which meets all the criteria and gets the perks of not being an actual malifaux model. So all is good now and you're right, I can always use them and they will be completely unique.
  15. Gah, the proxy rules are frustrating. For one month, I am going to have to get models, tear them up and modify them to match my idea of those models and then in a month.. buy the actual models because my proxies are no longer legal. Might be easier to just not use him.. which is definitely a problem.
  16. Exactly.. I need to know what's acceptable to bring. Also I'm assuming since it's wyrds tournament dmh will not be legal to Nico should be okay. Posted already in the gencon events and no response. Was trying to find another route
  17. Yeah, my current concern is GenCon. I want to bring Albus Von Schtook but his box isn't out until afterwards so I need to proxy: Albus, Research assistant and 3x undergraduates. There isn't anything out for M3e on proxies and I doubt there will be until GG is released. Not sure how to contact the current TO to ask what is acceptable to bring. My idea: Amelia - Albus Malifaux child - assistant shieldbearers - undergrads (only because I have 3 of them and won't run them with albus)

  19. Thanks Kyle! On more question: proxies, will those be listed anywhere or have someone I can reach out to about it? The resser master Albus and his core box don't come out until after gencon and I'd like to run them.
  20. What masters is everyone thinking that you'll need to bring to tournaments of complement each other? Von shtook is a good all comers with alot of built in faction counters. I'm actually thinking he may be all we need because of all the tools he can bring.
  21. Agreed on he Nico comment. Why does your meta think the current Nico is better than 2e Nico? Maybe after the July Nerf but even then he was still strong. I haven't looked at him at all and have switched to Albus as my primary.
  22. I emailed gencon support directly because I like meddling and this is their response: Yes, that did it. I see that there are multiple events submitted for Wyrd, they simply need to be processed by our team over here. Sit tight, and you should be seeing those events on the Event Finder (though it may take as long as a few more weeks).
  23. Is there an update on events? Doesn't look like any but the speed painting has gone up
  24. Tournament question: will we be using the correct boards or mats for the tournament? Last year it was a bunch of prebuilt boards with awkward built in terrain on 37x37 boards vs the standard 36x36. I did notice the finals had mats by mars on them so I would assume this tournament would have those too.
  25. I bought cards early on but lately i've been avoiding it unless I have 1-2 extra so I might buy 3-5 cards over the course of the game. Damage reduction on the Siren, bringing units back and the stratagems are too good. If my opponent has infiltrators though, I don't even bother because they'll just make you discard your hand. Better to be able to burn them on an extra flip. I did have one game where I would buy 1 card a turn and they were usually crap cards which worked out because on turn 4, I bought the stratagem where you can take a free attack and discard to do it with another unit. Allowed a nice surprise start of turn swing because it allowed me to remove multiple key fireteams.
