If you go mage I would take the step down from unique instrument, because if you lose it you are toast. If you are learned you can keep it at unique with less risk since you will still be able to use the spell just with an increase to TN

Maybe a bad batch of brilliance? Turns its users hyper violent instead of hyper good vibey. Tannen, needs some muscle to clean up the mess before it draws too much attention, then might need to eliminate the characters when they start asking too many questions.
