  1. Hello guys,

I've recently acquired the titania box and going to try her out in the next game. I really like the models aesthetically and I like to play crews that are thematic in stead of just a group of models that have strong synergy or are just strong models by themselves. So I am planning to play most of the titania box and the mysterious emissary.

What are your opinions on aeslin though? The autumn knights seem pretty strong, but aeslin is 9ss, she does seem to have her tricks and for example the - to ca aura could potentially be very strong but with the mysterious emissary as well I'm afraid my crew will lack damage.

Does anyone have experience with aeslin and how to play her, what schemes and strats make her shine, what other models does she synergize very well with?

    Greetings, Joachim.

  2. Thats true, didn't think about abuela and seeing that the upgrade itself is 2ss its just a 5ss difference.

I'll start with giving the death marshal recruiters a go and try and use the brutal emissary another go. I failed miserably with him the first two games, however i did manage to turn around the first game after losing the emissary turn 1.

  3. I will definetely try the blessed of december with well rehearsed, as I like the model and the way it plays and i have it painted up.

I'm not a super fan of the slate ridge mauler so I won't go for it at the moment. Looking at its stats it looked like a good option but I'm a noob so I probably look at it wrong.

I currently have snowstorm and blessed on top of the crew box. I'm right now looking for silent ones, december acolyte and essence of power to give me some more options.

Thanks for the feedback so far.

  4. Hi guys,

I recently got the brutal emissary for my lady justice crew and was thinking about how to play him.

Reading the unrelenting leader upgrade for the judge he could target the brutal emissary and make him put lady j in the box. Then the judge could walk forward and pull the brutal emissary up to him. Then finally he could activate himself and walk/charge forward and lady j would come out unactivated (the back in the box action states that the burried model unburries at the end of this models, aka emissary, next activation).

Am i missing something or is this perfectly possible?

If it is possible, is the 2ss upgrade worth it to do this? It will be situational as well. The things that i am thinking is lady j will be very overextended unless the enemy overextends himself and lady j is still close to the brutal emissary and more importantly the death marshal recruiter.

Regardless of pulling this on turn one to kill something you really want dead the judge can still use it to make the emissary use his back in the box or just hitting the enemy if he is in a great position.

What do you guys think about this combo?

  5. Hello,

I'm relatively new to malifaux and I currently have lady justice and rasputina. I was reading about the new upgrades and wanted to ask your opinion on this.

    a. What upgrade would you suggest on blessed of december? Is well rehearsed a good option on him? Since he has eat your fill it might be nice if he's able to survive one more hit and possibly still get a chance to heal.

    b. With the buff on the slate ridge mauler that makes him a bit more interesting for rasputina. He's already +1 wk but snowstorm can easily move him around as rasputina can give him armor (making him truly tanky) and frozen heart and now his melee is bumped up to a 6. As a bonus, a silent one might ge a heal onto him to keep him above his hard to kill treshold.

Does this make sense or are there better options? Before suggesting alternatives to these models, I really like the frozen heart team and prefer crews that are reasonably true to their theme.

    Thanks for any advice.

    Greetings, Joachim.
