Fear of Fright

After a brief hiatus due to moving home, I am now back running demos and events at Eastern Fringe Gaming. Upcoming events include a shifting loyalties campaign and a henchman hardcore tourney, keep your eyes on the forum for updates!

Morning all, I will be holding a narrative day at Eastern Fringe Gaming in Sleaford, Lincs on 29th July. The following format will be used: Players: 8 Time: 1200 Ticket: £8 Format: 50ss fixed crew, single Henchman. Game 1: Your henchmen is going about their daily business when somebody inadvertently says a wrong word, casts a sly glance, or steps upon a freshly polished shoe! Before the locals know what is happening a brawl has erupted. This first game will follow a similar format to an enforcer brawl but will use only the crew's henchman. (4 player game) Game 2: You just can't find the help these days, what has become of that troublesome henchman?! Your mast at the head of a 35ss crew is kicking ass and taking names in a montage scene of violence and discovery as they try to piece together what has happened to their right hand man/woman/puppet/thing. (3 player game) Game 3: Found them! And in a predicament it would seem... your Henchman is incarcerated for th start of the game and must be freed in a dashing display of daring do, but it seems another master is also of a similar mind. Let battle commence! (1v1, full crew) Hopefully it should be a fun relaxed day with some nicely painted crews and like mind folk!

Howdy all, I will be running a Rapid Growth at Eastern Fringe Gaming in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. Sign-up night will be 28th June with space for eight participants. The Malifaux scene here is slowly growing and so I am encouraging people to try a new crew box and build from there. I usually use the false accusation/BBL combo as a finisher or to set up a finisher so don't have a problem burning a high card or ss on it, if you can chain it with the exorcist's banish to oblivion it makes the opponent cycle their cheat hand quite quickly. I seem to be facing a lot of enforcer heavy/low model count crews at the moment though so your mileage may vary. I don't think it's a sound tactic for facing large crews as it becomes quite resource intensive.

I've been getting a lot of use out of exorcists, their ability to make anything undead increases The Judge's effectiveness massively.

Howdy all, I will be conducting Malifaux demos over the coming weeks at Eastern Fringe Gaming in Sleaford, 15 miles outside of Lincoln. The store is open on Wednesday evenings and I will be there most weeks from 1900-2200 so pop down if you are interested. the store has a blossoming Malifaux community and so we will be looking at running a Slow Grow in the near future.
