  1. Burt Jebson and Gracie are (I think) a throw back to Big Trouble in Little China. Kurt Russell's character was Jack Burton and I think he was sweet on some character named Gracie 'something-or-other' who got kidnapped by Lo Pan (who may be referenced by Wong?).
  2. I probably would have bought the one oinking at the moon. But I don't think it's ugly; comically frightening maybe.
  3. I think this sounds like a great idea. Especially maybe on the taxidermist? Could it be an albino lunatic mad scientist gremlin?
  4. I think you would end up with a very striking model! The lack of a nose and agressively non-sapien ears on the Wyrd sculpts could give you a pretty disconcerting appearance. I think the mild green tint in the photo you posted gives it enough of a non-human tone that the translation to a model would be interesting. What might you do with the ears? Reddish or greenish tint? Reddish/pinking might make them look even MORE human.
  5. Really wish these had made it into the Black Friday Sale. I think I'm also a fan of the running version, though the howling/oinking one is still a cool model to me. If the third sculpt does come out as an LE how are those usually released? Online store? Convention? @ swinerider Did you do any conversions on the wrath of kings models? Those are some great sculpts, not sure I could justify the purchase. But good proxies none the less.
  6. Just a new guy here, but I really like the idea of a "named" (henchman?) version of a taxidermist. The ability/trigger names I've seen tossed about are downright hilarious.
  7. Recently started playing Malifaux and (obviously) gremlins are where I began. I'm heavy on the porcine models because Ulix is the master I purchased. Lately I've been pining after the pigapult. But as a broke @$$ grad-student I'm looking for ways to save money when possible. So last night it occurred to me that I never finished assembling the Mountain Breaker Cannon I purchased while I was playing Confrontation so many years ago. For those not familiar, this is the model to which I'm referring: I know it's probably not all that thematic (unless Sparks went from mechanical pig creation to building cannons) but I think I'm going to attempt to repurpose the cannon as a pigapult. Besides lopping the head off a piglet, attaching it to some sort of simulated smoke (cotton balls?) and stuffing that in the barrel, does anybody have any other ideas for ensuring the bacon-howitzer looks suitably pigapult-ish? I'm also feeling that the exploding piglet who's faceplanting also sort of looks like it could have just been launched from a cannon....? Anyway, throw out your ideas!
  8. I'm in intrigued by the Black Friday sale, that's something I'll keep my eye on. That sounds like an online store "event"? I'm a fan of supporting the local guys, but one or two purchases online doesn't sound too bad. Thanks for the information!
  9. Hi all, new player here (literally one intro game under my belt). Big fan of gremlins so far, pigs in particular. I'm still trying to get the hang of the way Wyrd runs things as far as model releases. Does anyone know the potential release timeframe for the Swinecursed from Ripples of Fate? My sense is that they'll be out after the New Year because the magnitude of my desire to have them is inversely proportional to the likelihood they'll be released soon. Thanks!
  10. Hi, I just recently moved to Tacoma and am looking hard at trying Malifaux. Are you (or somebody else?) still doing demos and introducing new players at Terra Crux?
