After a longer pause due to work, holidays and a master thesis, I'm back into Malifaux. So the chance of finding an opponent or a demo on Thursdays are quite good. We're also going to play in the beta if possible. You can also look forward to some organised play events in the nearer future.

Same as usual... Regular gaming night on Thursdays, you can come to play or get a demo but please contact me first to make sure I bring miniatures.

I'm still alive and still doing Malifaux, even though work has forced me to go a little slower. As usual I'll be around on Thursdays but as I do not always have the time or mindset to play a whole Malifaux game please contact me if you want a demo so that you can be sure I got models with me. I'd be happy to see some new faces!

Howdy, folks. Our annual Mordheim campaign is nearly over so there will be more time for Malifaux again. Same as ever - just send me a message or show up on thursdays and you can have a demo or a game with one of our group.

As solkan said, that does not always work. I have to do that as my nearest store is quite far away and it doesn't count. The issue is that I get the usual bill they use for online orders and noone can check if I really go to the store. So if your shop gives you a bill while you are there, that is different from the online one, I guess there shouldn't be an issue.

The year is coming to an end, which means our annual Mortheim campaign is going to start soon. Luckily the campaign will not start before December so plenty of time to get some Malifaux in. As usual just come in or contact me to have a game or a demo. In December you will have to contact me beforehand to be sure I bring my miniatures. Hope to see some of you on Thursdays!

Even if it is likely to be irrelevant in a hobby that is as visually based as tabletop my job/intense contact to blind people forces me to mention it - pictures are fare less accessible, especially for screenreaders. I was really happy to see that all the text in the pdfs was accessible and thus screenreader compatible. Just raising awareness

The tournament is over and it was a blast. Thanks to all the participants! Demos are still available on Thursdays, just show up and hope that I'm free or contact me to arrange a date. Furthermore we are going to make our games count for Homefront and there maybe will be spontaneous small events with Story Encounters that can be played during the Homefront campaign.

As usual the monthly upgrade... At the 30th we'll have our tournament which is filling up nicely, mostly with newer and less experienced players. Furthermore our group has been growing slowly and steadily so you'll have the chance to get a game in most of the weeks. If you contact me beforehand, especially if you want a demo, you can be sure that there will be somebody available for you.

Der Multiversum Marburg e.V. präsentiert sein zweites Malifaux Turnier am 30. September 2017 in der Spielebrücke Marburg (Ketzerbach 21 1/2). Holiday and Campaign are over (and both went quite well ) so we're back to regular gaming nights and demo opportunities. Because of other tournaments we've rescheduled our tournament a second time but now it's set and I'll post the information tomorrow as soon as T3 is ready

Funny, I got the other mispack. Rockwolf twice. Missing parts went perferct, as usual. I used the spare one as a henchman giveaway.

After a rather stressful end of the school year finally a new update from my side. I'll be on holiday for the next 2-3 weeks so there will be no more demos in July. In August everything will be back to normal and you can come over for a demo every Thursday. Our campaign is running smoothly until the end of August. Our next tournament will not be on the 9th of September but on the 16th. More about that in another thread.

I guess so. We have a club in our town that uses the venue of a gaming community. It was perfectly alright to name this as the location for our events. I don't think it should be a problem to name a store that doesn't sell Wyrd products as a location. It could be possible that the demos an events inspire the store to get Malifaux models. But to be sure about all of that talk to @Kai

You have to fill in the form and tick the button "send confirmation". Then you instantly get a reply which you print out. I misunderstood it the same way as you did but I was told it was that easy and there was no hand-written mail and everything worked out fine.

The rulebook actually isn't that bad if you've read it once as a whole. If you know the structure it is not that hard to find the exact rules. You flip for schemes for the whole game. 2 cards give you 5 schemes of which each player chooses 2. You always have "a line in the sand" and then you check your cards for suits and numbers. If any of those is doubled you have the doubles scheme (distract). So each player has 2 schemes (which he chooses freely from the available 5) and both together have a strategy. Scoring is capped at 3 or for, as explained by @Clement Edit: ninja'd

I agree with the people saying you shouldn't get more than one box of a model. The only models I used more than I have of are Flesh Constructs (it has happened that I summoned more than one and fielded one), Mindless Zombies (now I have 10, 5 are sometimes not enough if you play the Emissary and Maniacal Laugh), the Students out of the University box (especially Viscera, because I love it) and Belles/Doxies in one, very strange, game which I wouldn't count as relevant. In similarly irrelevant and unlikely event I had two Rogue Necromancies (Spare Parts), but if that happens I guess you've won anyways Bear in mind that Shikome and Hanged are both Rare 2, it is easy to forget. As for mercenaries - I love condition removal and I often play Johan instead of Chiaki, because they fulfill a different role. Killjoy is also funny and a Freikorps Trapper (or even 2) can add some unexpected shooting power to your lists.

We're starting a story driven Shifting Loyalties Campagin on June 1st, at the Spielebrücke e.V. (Ketzerbach 21 1/2, Marburg). Our regular meetings start at 1800, games will more often start at 1900. The campaign will have 6 campaign weeks, but every campaign week will be two weeks long. The scenario will set the frame for the story and the rest of the campaign. Road's End - the sleepy saloon known far and wide for its bad food and music and the shady adventurers who stop there to get to the west. It is set between the Knotwood and the Ten Peaks, west of Slate Ridge. Some days ago the successful and infamous mercenary "Wildcat Hendricks", who had boasted about the rich payment from an unknown client about a week before, came back from his expedition to find a way to cross the Far Peaks. He was in a really bad condition - clothes torn, his whole body bruised and broken. In his hand he held a Soulstone, big as a man's fist with a pale purple glow. The customers and the innkeeper rushed to help him, but it was too late. Wildcat's last words were few and started an excited buzzing: "Farpoint... Three days west... Soulstones..." Now, a few days later, the rumour has spread all over Malifaux. A lot of shady adventurers, businessmen and criminials, in short, everybody interested in riches and power, have started expeditions to the unknown city. To find a good spot for your basecamp and to get some further information you've decided to go to Road's End and question the locals. But you are not the only one who has ben sent to find out more...

You can buy the digital copies of the books. Every book has the cards of several models of every faction. As far as I know there is no other way to get digital copies of the cards. Let's hope for the release of the app.

Funny, for me it was also Juju who introduced me to fgf. Before this game I couldn't force me to take fears but that situation was perfect.

You can swap Thousand Faces for Fears on turn 2 or 3, as soon as you get stuck in the enemy crew. This way you don't have to be careful how to position your crew turn 1. But I understand your issue. I've just started to play NB myself and recently had one game where I killed half my crew with black blood. It's a lot of small positioning things you have to keep in mind so FgF can be a bit too much.
