  1. I know, I just had horrible hands through out the game. Also, when the TN is 13 and my WP is usually lowered to 1-2 or even 0, it makes it really hard to pass.
  2. Yes, that makes a lot of sense...did feel it was rather OP that I would lose the rest of my turn and the following one as well.
  3. That's what my opponent told me, that if it had been their turn already (or in their current turn) then they would lose the next one.
  4. The problem with the dreamer is that there are no living or undead models that I can turn into constructs...also, his web weaver (or whatever it's called) kept throwing webs that reduced my WP and he can still throw paralyze around to get at my constructs. I'm not really sure how to deal with all of this and the game got kind of frustrating at the end.
  5. So a few days ago I played my first game as a resser (McMourning) and absolutely loved it, great crew to play...however, I did have some problems as I was up against the dreamer. He had a lot of horror and a lot of stuff that lowers willpower and I simply can't figure out how to deal with it...at the end of my game I had more or less my entire crew paralyzed leaving him free to more or less do what he wanted for a whole turn and even re-paralyzing my models. How do you deal with this stuff as a resser? I'm at a loss. McMourning did take out Teddy in one go, which was rather satisfying though ^^
  6. Well I ordered some of the building and they're absolutely amazing! I am considering replacing the windows with some see-through plastic card though.
  7. This is amazing! Very well done...very impressive! I may have to build a board like this ^^
  8. I'm more or less set on having my own Malifaux table at home to play with friends and have started looking at terrain as I don't want to make too much of it myself, and I've found this stuff: http://www.tabletop-world.com/merchantsShop.php Now the buildings are absolutely stunning, I love em, but they seem a lot more medieval and not so much victorian/wild west...but do you reckon they would fit in well enough in the Malifaux setting? I'm thinking like a little town on the outskirts, before you get to the "badlands" or the Bayou.
  9. Heya, just signed up! I've played Malifaux before but taken a long break, sold all my old stuff and have now chosen to return and just put together my first crew and will have my first 2ed game this tuesday, really looking forward to it ^^ I've been in the miniatures hobby for around 15 years now, starting way back with Necromunda and then moved on to 40k which I've collected ever since. I'm a very fluff-type of person, very much into characters, lore etc and not that competitive...I sort of want to be, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it, but enjoy playing none the less. Besides tabletop gaming I also do roleplaying (currently running Through the Breach with my group as an FM) and also do a lot of PC gaming, and have a youtube gaming channel and will be getting into streaming soon (have considered trying to do some Malifaux streaming as well at some point). Currently working as a carpenters (technically a mix between joiner and carpenter, the words in Danish are quite different) and have about 3 years left till I'm completely done and get my certificate. I also have my own little hobby workshop which I'm preparing for furniture and pipe making, as well as some armour crafting. So, that's me...not much else to say ^^ Looking forward to being a part of the community!
