  1. Prismacolor Marker work, and following the trend this was done by my roommate who doesn't play Malifaux!
  2. Whoa, it's a Raw Dealer on the internet not on TCO! Congrats on your new position.
  3. This is probably the wrong forum for this, but looking at updated release boxes, I noticed that the Sonnia box has the old 2E sculpt for Sonnia - complete with the mask that I thought she no longer wears? Did I miss some lore where she put it back on, or is this just a case of (hopefully) stand-in art for a better release in the future?
  4. Or will they be dualed to 'The Lost' or whatever that orphan-y keyword is?
  5. I don't suppose it happens to be a librarian?
  6. So he's not Asian, just a Pang Tong cosplayer who went a little too far? I'm mainly staring at the box image because there appears to be a gravedirt golem of some sort and that is HELLA exciting to me.
  7. You could just do what I did, and write the new cost in the corner with a permanent marker. It's not like anything else was changed.
  8. You still have it in your first quote. Even in the case of double-blast, the damage they deal are resolved in the order of the attacker's choosing. No blast is specifically the 'first' blast and therefore do not require resolving first.
  9. So, now that McMourning's upgrade lets him hire Beasts, I have a question as to how The Scorpius' Neurotoxin ability interacts with McM and Sebastian's Catalyst abilities. So, any model activating within 8 inches of McM or Sebastian with any levels of Poison immediately suffer 1 point of Poison damage and lower that condition value by 1. Any model within 3 inches of the Scorpius that suffer poison damage gain slow. So here's the question: if a model with Poison activates in both of those auras, does it suffer that damage and gain slow before the model generates AP so they generate 1 less AP, or is it after they've gained their AP from activating, and when their activation ends Slow will disappear having no effect?
  10. I want this as an alt model for Malifaux so badly.
  11. I've been waiting on this bad boy! So happy the best Draugr art is finally a model.
  12. So does new art mean a new alt model?
  13. Late to this party, but it sure looks like @Alyssa might be a fan of Hellsing with some of the motifs in that design
  14. We clearly disagree on the subject of what can constitute good writing. Demanding a character's sexuality be treated quietly and unobtrusively is a silencing tactic.
  15. You argued that you can't say the only sexuality represented is straight because they never explicitly say so - to which I respond that you also can't say they represent other sexualities because they never explicitly say so. Wyrd has done an excellent job of creating a wider variety of representation of women and various cultures in the models in the game. It would be nice to see this kind of representation extend into the lore, and I don't think it needs any sort of 'but don't make it the focus' caveat. There is nothing wrong with a character being gay and it being a focal point of their story, unless you think there is something wrong with being gay (or trans or bi, etc.). The only thing to be careful of is perpetuating harmful stereotypes.
  16. You also can't use 'They don't explicitly deny the existence of LGTBQ characters' as evidence that they are represented in the lore.
  17. Here's an oddball question: Will the new upgrades for the masters be included in their box sets going forward? Like if you buy a Von Schill box in 2018, it'd have those 2 upgrades included?
  18. Nellie will get a lot of utility out of your Outcast mercs, and Perdita is pretty much playable out of the box. So really, the money here will be to have some utility... which you've already got in your two master choices. Pistoleros play into Nellie's activation order shenanigans and are Family to key off Perdita bonuses, so they're a good extra cheap minion choice. If you want some heavy hitters: the Peacekeeper, Ryle or Executioners are good choices. And even with the 'I only want 2 masters' position, I'd recommend picking up the Lady Justice box set too - The Judge and Death Marshals are just all good models to have. So... 95 for your master boxes of choice, 21 for the Pistoleros, 45 for Lady J, Ryle for 11, and... 29 to get whatever Guild models appeal to you!
  19. Given it's a legal proxy for a -different- model, I can see where allowing you to use it as a proxy for Archie may cause confusion.
  20. Guild Lawyers are always worth the points! Ranged poison infliction, ability to fling Hard to Wound on your models, and the positive to horror duels all for 6 points? Yes please! Not to mention inflicting multiple levels of Fees on a key model is so annoying and so brilliant.
  21. Suddenly I don't feel so bad procrastinating on painting my McCabe. -This- is how I'll field McCabe in the future! So sweet. But I'm now super intrigued if they'll get a Black Friday 'Finish off your crew!' nightmare model like the Coryphee. A pack of Guild Hounds with boilers? A gunner sidecar-motorbike as a Peacekeeper? A Lone Marshal on a bike?
  22. Those two maxiatures are scaring me a lot, given how huge we already know the emissaries are.
  23. Something tells me almost no one is going to follow that bland color scheme when actually painting this guy. Looking forward to seeing all the Green Hornet/Lone Ranger/etcetera paint schemes
  24. Reva the Revenant? Are we going to get Tye the Tyrant, Khan the Construct, and Annie the Oni, too? (I kid, I kid. Can't wait to field my Nundead Crew!)
  25. As a total 10 Thunders newbie (and really, Malifaux newbie in general) that's the least of my trouble! I'm still figuring out how to use the models I have to their full effect let alone future ones. I'll agree a lot of their tricks seem more Neverborn strong, though.
