  1. Ok so I played it correctly
  2. So I played my second game against Vikis and this time I played somewhat better (not much). Lost the game by 1 victory point. Did a couple mistakes which cost me the game like; I forgot about myranda's Beast + DF passive. I used a slateridge mauler when I should've used a Cojo. I moved up too quickly and I forgot to the the models separate from each other to avoid Viktoria of Blood's Whirlwind trigger. One question... When I sacrifice Myranda and summon a beast. Does the beast continue as if it was Myranda with Myranda's remaining AP or does the sacrifice end Myranda's activation and I can activate the beast later on with the slow condition?
  3. Victorias, Hannah and a student are always there. the rest vary
  4. Hey guys, So, first of all, I'm not a very competitive player and it takes ages for me to get used to playing a game and learning certain tactics/tricks etc etc I've played 2 games against Victorias and I'm being swept off the table by turn 2. The problem is that I still don't know how to build my crew. I always use Marcus with God's Domain and Feral instincts, Myranda with Imbued energies, the Jackalope, Silurid, Waldgeist and Razorspine. Of course I add other models but atm I'm trying out various others to learn exactly what they do. The problem is that I don't know how to play Marcus properly. I've read the Marcus thread on the forum but still I'm finding it difficult to use this Master. Note that this is my first an only Master that I've played with. And I intend on learning how to use him properly before moving to other masters. So if anyone can give a few pointers on how to counter the Victorias and which schemes to take and which to avoid.... that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  5. Hey, I'm going to be honest with you. Considering that these are your first minis, the painting isn't terrible. But what I've noticed is that you're paints are too thick. You need to thin down your paints. Since you are using light colors, undercoat your minis with white. Then start painting thin layers of paint. You will not cover the surface immediately and it may take several coats. Do not try to paint over wet paint, let it dry properly. Use a small hair dryer to dry your paints faster. To achieve simple, yet effective shadows you can always use washes. GW washes are excellent. Always remember to thin them down abit. Never apply paint/wash directly from the pot. Hope this helps!
  6. Hey guys So I've decided to start playing Malifaux and I've decided to go with Marcus. I like the savage/feral theme he's got going. Now I'm here to ask you guys what should I take with him and why. What would you suggest I get that works well with Marcus. Note that I haven't started playing yet and, although I've read the rules, I still don't have a clue what to expect. Thanks in advance!
