So as I'm thinking about starting a game of this as a fate master I thought I'd best have a pop at rolling(flipping) up a character just so I know what I'm doing (plus I can use him for another game) so so after shuffling my deck I drew the following cards Station 10 - Enforcer, doesn't seem too bad fits my personality quite well West 4 -2/-1/+1/+2, seems like a good draw over all North 8 - 3/2/2/2 good start for skills East 8 -2/0/+1/+1 again another good set I think south 13 - 3/3/2 few but solid skills so I opted to pipit the skills in the following might +1 Charm +1 grace+2 Cunning +1 speed -2(-1) Intelect 0 resiliance 0(-1) Tenacity -2 I opted to up the speed and resilience of my character with a brawler in mind who from a young age has grown up on the streets earth side battering his way through each day I took the following root skills Athletic 2 Martial arts 3 Pistol 2 Evade 2 Pugilist 1 (from my station card) So over all a fist thrower all round grunty meat heat My endeavour skills would take this idea further and add some addition character to the character, my thoughts were of a brawler recruited into a gang as an enforcer the rough brutal thug sent into to deal with problem makers, but also someone who would act as a guard, being Malifaux inspired and me being an Arcanist player I opted to develop some magical ability to further make him better at pounding engines as such I took Toughness 3 Magical enchantment 3 Scruitiny 2 With all these selected my derived aspects looked like this Defence 4 (2+2) Willpower 2 (2-2 Walk 4 Charge 4 (Worked out as 4 -05 = 3.5 rounded up) Wounds 7 (4+3) Height 2 A fairly good character, looking to be getting close to being an enforcer stat wise I opted to take Guard as my pursuit and for the talent armour training And finally his fate When your death rattles at the door The sting of a single wasp will light the agony And the moon shines upon the forest by not your path It is and It grows And it dreams of you
