Thank you! I love the new Lucius model and either Tara as well so at least I had a couple secondary masters I really like the look of also to offer diversity I just really love melee swordmasters/assassins and wanted to focus on that master first.

Look wise I have it narrowed down to Lady J, Misaki, and Viks.

I have dabbled in malifaux before and trialed it again when m3e went live. Now that more boxes are out I want to get back into the game. I really enjoy assasins/swordmasters beat sticks so my question is who has been the most consistent “good/generalist” sword type master master if I wanted to focus on one. (Lady j, Victoria’s, Masaki, etc..)

I love the Victoria's box set but was told a year or so ago they had some very good and very bad match ups so weren't a great starter pick. They are also about the only outcasts models I like. Therefore I will probably go with something else.

Thanks for all of the info hippo! Which faction tends to play more like a glass cannon? At the moment I am leaning toward starting with Sonia because overall I like more guild models. Arcanists models aren't bad but I don't love the looks of the rest of the faction. It's the same with ten thunderers I love the starter with the ninjas but the rest not so much.

I am going to give malifaux a try and have narrowed it down to two factions and four leaders. I typically like fast (speed) glass cannon factions. I narrowed it down to guild or arcanists based on ascetics. Lady J and Sonia C. I would get Sonia first. Arcanists wise I like Ironsides the best with those awesome looking mages! Then would be kearis. Any my advice would be appreciated. I will start with one box then if I am liking it expand into the other.
