This thread is becoming a bear to read. I like the idea of launching Howard in and then using the new blades and claws(or whatever it is called) upgrade to bring in the bear to tank a bit.

Yep the Mage upgrade does not have a rare attached to it. So it can be taken on as many models you want(are Oxfordians Mages rare 3?) You could take 3 mages, take the new upgrade on one of them and pay 17 ss for them. However the upgrade does not count towards the mages upgrade slots and cost 0 ss so it would be pointless to do this.

Anyone got their tracking numbers yet?

I suspect they will use erratas to cuddle and new releases to buff.

That is interesting I never found the Silent One mobile. I love the model in theory. It's shooting attack is so good and having a heal is awesome(my first master was Von Schill. I miss the healing.) I have only one game with them so far so I haven't had a chance to really try them out yet.

I'd say now is about time to start placing your bets on who you think the Ten Thunder master will be.

I hope its not just to see what people scramble to vote for next week trying to figure out what faction it could be =p.

I bet Gremlins will get a lot of the Ten Thunders vote next week. Thunders know how it feels to be the red headed stepchild.

I don't really agree with the theory that adding + burning adds to the damage track. One because condition removal exist in this game and two the damage dose not happen right away. Sometimes you need to kill something right away. Burning doesn't add to that. One thing I would like to see is to rank each strat best to worse for each master. For example: Ramos: Reconnoiter, Interference, Extraction, Guard the stash, Stake A claim, Squatters rights, Turf war, Collect the bounty, Headhunter, Reckoning. (Note This isn't a true ranking but an example)

I'd switch Engage at Will with The Shirt Comes Off. Also Every list is better with more Oath Keeper. Hannah is worth her weight in gold. The Strongarm Suit is good too. The challenging thing about Freikorps is that they have so many good 10+ models. It's hard to balance when to use what.
