    Thanks for answering. So we did it right ... Well, the Electrocutioners look great to me, the amount of damage they do is brutal. My Black Ops are weak in comparison, for the same cost. Sure, each faction has its stuff, but it really seemed very gross to me. I will have to think of a good tactic against them, like not gathering my troops😅😅

    And..... Did you come up with a tactic?!? I hope so! As I don't have one :/

  2. Howdy y'all,

    I've just recently picked up the Molly box and have therefore acquired a talkative severed head in a pram,but I'm finding it hard to see how to play him with any sort of certainty/efficiency. Bear in mind most of what I know is theoryfaux, bar the one recent game I had with him.

    I couldn't find any posts that really gave me the information I was looking for though...

    I KNOW from listening to podcasts and reading around the place that Philip is an excellent model that I believe some people almost include in very game.

    I'm aware that he is good for card cycling and also turning enemy scheme markers in to corpses when needed, but that's really the easy part.

    The hard thing I'm finding is the WHEN to do things, do you always have to take a dead Dixie to get the most out of him?HOW do you decide to use the card cycling vs getting chatty up and then risking him due to generally being in the thick of it without manipulative?

    Really I'm asking what are peoples experiences and some examples of when they've used certain abilities of Philip's and why, holding off and playing defensive or playing "aggressively".

    Any and all input will be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Oh don't waste the 2 AP mate on the charge. Just hit some one through a corpse..some random scrub. Get the charge trigger off, charge the actual target, do 2 attacks on it, if you manage to kill it, you now have 2 AP to charge another target!! Factor in her (0), for the cost of 1 AP and a tome-hit, you can possibly put 5 attacks onto 1 model. Factor in Vince stopping reduction and prevention..... It's almost Vik like (just no whirlwind).

    Add yin on target for further death assurances.

    Of course you can trigger the charge from anywhere on the board *face palm*

  4. So, I would take show of force and set up.

    40 SS Resurrectionists Crew
    McMourning + 6 Pool
     - Moonlighting (1)
     - Plastic Surgery (1)
     - Unnerving Aura (1)
    Zombie Chihuahua (2)
    Sebastian (7)
     - Transfusion (1)
     - Those Are Not Ours! (1)
    Rafkin (7)
     - Transfusion (1)
    Flesh Construct (6)
    Rotten Belle (5)
    Nurse (5)

     (exported from CrewFaux)

    As all the action will be in the middle i thought mcmourning would be fun, and I've only just started using him. Plastic surgery will give any constructs unread to I could summon still, and as i would be using him as a bit of a beatstick unnerving aura to help that damage and the often see hard to kill in arcanists.

    Pump up the flesh construct with poison from the nurse and mcmourning 0 action.

    3 upgrades between rafkin and Sebastian, should secure some points for show of force. I'll have the construct jam up the middle and toss Rafkins poison bombs at him so I can definitely hit the severe damage and double blast.

  5. I live in Australia so buying directly from Wyrd America is very pricey with shipping as well as the weak AUD.

    My question is how long (roughly) will it take for all the models at Gencon to be released and available normally?

    That would be of great assistance to help decide whether I remortgage  my house or wait till stuff is available in Australia. Thanks!

  6. Howdy all, I'm going  to use this post to post sets of random schemes/strategies/SS size/master. I will post what I would take and why, it would be really interesting to see what other people would take and why. Im limiting it to Mcmourning and Seamus specifically because that's who I'm currently playing and try to master ;)

    Set#1

    40SS - Mcmourning/Seamus

    Opposition - Arcanists

    Deployment: Flank Deployment (13)
    Strategy: Guard the Stash (Crows)
    Schemes:
      * Convict Labor (Always)
      * Show Of Force (Rams)
      * Hunting Party (Crows)
      * Set Up (7)
      * Occupy Their Turf (13)

    *sigh* stupid internet ate my long post for you. I'll try and post again when I can.

    Here's the List and schemes I would have taken:

    Seamus: Sinister Reputation, Red Chapel Killer

    Madam Sybelle: Not Too Banged up

    Copy Cat Killer

    Rotten Belle x3

    Nurse

    SET UP - PUBLIC DEMONSTRATION

    That sucks!

    I've read many of your posts scattered about, I would very much appreciate your expert opinion.

    Thanks :D

  8. Hello all!

    I’m wanting to employ any and all Resser folk to lend me your thoughts regarding the game I had yesterday versing a Ten Thunders crew at 35SS.

    Specifically I’m wanting your views on what crew you would employ.

    The scheme was interference (we were using the 2016 Gaining Grounds), and scheme pool was: hunting party, leave your mark, public demonstration, setup and convict labour.

    I picked hunting party and leave your mark, my crew was:

    Seamus

    -Red Chapel Killer

    -Sinister Reputation

    Copycat Killer

    Madame Sybelle

    -Bleeders Lash

    Bete Noire

    Yin

    Rotten Belle

    TT – he took public demonstration and leave your mark

    Ototo - leader

    -Recalled Training

    Yamaziko

    -Blot Out the Sky

    -Another 1SS upgrade that I can’t remember, it wasn’t recalled training though

    Thunder Archer

    3 x Torakage

    Quick rundown,

    My setup was Sybelle and a Belle on the left of the board opposite his whole army, Bete starting off the board, everyone else off to the right

    I did manage from turn two onwards keep his models tied up to neither of scored on the strategy, but turn two he killed my only Belle with his archer.

    Turn 1: Sybelle and Belle move up slightly behind hard cover, Yamaziko and archer move forward to face off Sybelle and Belle. Torakage and Ototo all moved to the right. Seamus popped up in the centre behind cover, focused and took a shot at a torakage leaving him at 2Wd, Yin moved up still on the far right. End of the turn Yamaziko’s upgrade allowed the archer to shoot at the belle taking it down to 4Wd.

    Turn 2: Archer kills the belle (sad face, my plan was to lure the archer so sybelle could kill it for hunting party), Sybelle double walked in to both the archer and Yamaziko tying them both up. Seamus focused and took a shot at ototo taking him down to 1Wd due to hard to kill and then moved out of LOS. I kept the copycat hidden just in case the enemy had hunting party. Yin couldn’t kill the torakage with only 2Wd left. Yamaziko killed Sybelle, Bete popped out and killed Yamaziko. Torakage achieved public demo on Yin for 3 points, and TT scored one point for the strategy.

    Turn 3: Ototo killed Bete (I cheated a 10 to keep her) and healed back 1Wd. Seamus tried to kill Ototo again after focusing, black joker. Copycat follow up, nothing. Yin flapped about and did a little damage. Nobody scores.

    Turn 4 (my mate had to leave so we declared this the last turn): Yin does a bit more damage, can’t nail a torakage down though, Torakage kills Yin which was awesome. Bete popped out killing another torakge giving me  my second point for the game. Ototo manage to kill copycat. Game ends.

    After thoughts: Ototo just would NOT die due to hard to kill, blow him away with Seamus nope left on one health couldn’t hit or he would cheat the damage off when I did a follow up attack with the Copycat. Ototo would then heal back at least one wound. It was very frustrating, I wanted him off the board as he was jamming up my “plan”. My plan was to use Seamus to bounce and drop schemes but I think that was a terrible idea now looking back, maybe I should have taken some Necro punks or crooligans?? I’m really stuck thinking what I should have picked or done differently.

    I don’t know why I picked leave your mark as the other scheme, but I don’t know what other one I would have taken?

    So now I’ve given you my thoughts and what happened, I would be very interested to get what you think on both what you would’ve done, what I could/should’ve done both on crew selection of even loosely on my game play.

    Any and all help is appreciated!
