  1. Charge, flurry etc can not be the target of the focus condition because they themselves are not the attack. The first attack they generate can apply the focus. I realize I am splitting hairs with this instance and I will run it by any TO's until the FAQ addresses it and I will be happy to run it either way.
  2. I think your points are valid. But in all of your instances an action generates attacks and focus is use for one of those attacks whereas this instance the attack generates the next attack. I'm not saying you're wrong but I'm not satisfied this covers what I am asking.
  3. If a model spends focus for an attack that generates another attack, does the trigger attack gain the benefits of focus? The actions causing actions call out box on page 38 of the big rule book states 'the original action is not considered resolved until the new actions are also resolved' Thank you for your time and consideration.
  4. You have the option to cheat once. Loser cheats or doesn't and then the winner may cheat (maybe want a suit for a trigger or better differential). If the loser opted not to cheat they can't go back to cheat after the winner decides to cheat.
  5. The only exception is the card intensive shadow step for certain schemes but you need Misaki, Yamaziko, or Ototo and then we completely left the premise of this thread which is it a viable merc.
  6. From a 10T perspective I would take a Thunder Brother 98 times out of 100 instead of a torakage and save a stone. Torakage require a certain level of finesse to use to potential and I would rather focus my attention on other parts of the game then to worry about precision placing a model or have more conditions to watch in my activation order. I don't think they are bad because they tend to do good on accident but there are pieces that do whatever you hired the torakage to do better.
  7. I would think the trigger goes off and the attack is resolved even if randomizing changes the target to a previously targeted model. I don't think randomization is meant to stop an attack in motion because it is possible to hit out of range and out of LOS models after randomizing.
