  1. I am hoping to come along to this, just depends on work. I wondered the 100ss limit is that for what you want to hire or does it include summons as well? Ie if I don't have a The Hanged in my 100ss pool does that mean I can't raise one with my Reader master? If my gremlin pool has 2 bayou gremlins does that mean Somer can't summon any more until one of them dies? It will just alter how I build my pool.
  2. I assume then that I will only really need one swarm then and to make the rest up as individuals. I take it you don't often get the chance to summon two swarms in a game?
  3. Cheers for the feedback, I'm going to go with the Ramos crew as Joss and Hank bring some hard hitting power which I feel I was missing I n the Colette crew (Coryphee are great at dealing damage but not quite so good at receiving it). Going to get the box and then a box of little arachnids to supplement him for all of the summoning I think he will be doing. I'll probably expand from there into Ironsides as I hear she is a difficult master to get to grips with.
  4. Sold, I like to have fluffy lists. I am looking at 100 pt, 2 Master limit trying to get two fluffy lists with some crossover so that I can maximise the number of useful models available to both lists.
  5. I have just got into the Arcanists after transferring from Gremlins. I bought the Colette set as I absolutely love the models and the fact they play well in theme. I am now looking for a second master to compliment Colette, ideally one that would play well into Ressers or Neverborn. I am torn between Rasputina and Ramos as they either have immunity to horror duels or won't drop a lot of corpse markers. Any suggestions?
  6. I think I may have been selected from the reserve list. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it due to work commitments now. please remove me - Adam Harrison
  7. So I went to the shop today to buy Ramos and help out the poor downtrodden working class from their oppressive masters and got oh shiney syndrome. I realised that another way of helping the little guy as through a rival dynasty. And so have bought some ten thunders! I've changed from Gremlz to Ten Thunders by purchasing Brewie, free drinks all round.
  8. I was going to go guild, I went into the shop, Lady J and and Dita were sold out so I bought Ophelia, as I didn't like any of the other masters. And now I realise that guild are just like Gremlz only not as cool. And Arcanists appeal to me as they are only trying to scrape a living under the boot of there oppressive overlords, a bit like the Gremlz.
  9. You need to be reckless or drunk and reckless most of the time. Bayou two card is your best friend. If your not damaging lots of your own models your doing it wrong. In the last game I won 8-5 of the 9 dead Gremlz my opponent only killed 3 of them. Plus when assassinate is on the table I make it my aim for someone to kill their master and himself at the same time.
  10. Zoraida - Neverborn I would love to say Gremlz, however Bad JuJu's unique upgrade with her perchance for swamp fiends easily sways it to Neverborn.
  11. Normally I wait until I have painted an Army up, got the ready for gaming, play with them twice and then start something new. However with my second child on the way I suspect my ability to game will be severely restricted, so hopefully that will slow down my flip flopping. The benefits I see with Arcanists is they only have one dual Master which means my chances of going on a tangent are greatly reduced (I don't like the look/feel of 10T).
  12. I've now gotten my collection of Gremelz to about 80 points (with three masters; Zoraida, Ophelia and Somer), which I figure is enough to have a decent selection to play the standard 50 point games with. I'm now looking at switching to Arcanists (going with Ramos, Ironsides and Colette when she comes out) and wondered when othe people swapped factions, do you get to so many points, get every master or every model or is it a case of 'oh new shiney thing, must have'.
  13. Dammit I think I got the wrong Zoraida model when I went online shopping.
  14. In my first week of Officer training my platoon was shown the South Park video about ginger kids and how like vampires they burn in sunlight because they have no soul. However you do get some gingers who can go outside and they are called daywalkers. There was only one other person in my platoon who was ginger and he left after 4 days. Turns out in Iraq and Afgahnistan I do burn in sunlight.
  15. The way I think about it is Brewmaster is going to be released at a fixed point in time and nothing I can do (bar, major international terrorism, but that doesn't float my boat) will change that. Now that gives Wyrd two options, 1. Tell me months in advance or 2. Tell me a week before the release. Now I would rather have option one as it means I can plan my spending, if there's a delay I can pick up Jeb or Gracie to tide me over. With option 2 I buy myself a whiskey golem and then boom the Brewie I have been waiting for is released and I have no cash. I'd rather have a Wyrd than a Gw.
