  1. Turns out 3 of the Gremlin models were at Gencon.

Aeslin has more to offer than just a that targets Wp. Rot and Rend has two, potentially three triggers that Woe is Me Pandora likes. A Crow makes the target discard a card or gain Slow, which Pandora can use to place a Sorrow. A Mask is a kind of Lure, pushing the target 6" towards Aeslin (with positioning, into some Misery bubbles). A Tome places a scheme marker in base contact with the target, good for following up to kill for Dig Their Graves. Bound and Rooted is really good for one of Pandoras most notorious foes - Zipp. His attack that targets height can't be resisted with Wp, and it lets him really badly reposition Pandora outside of her support.
  3. But that would mean I'm playing Lucius.
  4. I'll be honest - I find the Tooth/Rougarou combo much better on paper than in practice. It's very card hungry, and one missed attack can cause a lot of the attack engine to stall. If the Lure fails, it just doesn't go off. If any of the Tooths attacks miss, it also doesn't push to get the Rougarous Pounce. To make it reliable it needs positive flips, which means an Emissary with the generic Conflux, after which you've spent a LOT on that combo, and lost your master specific Conflux. It's a great threat, but as soon as an opponent figures out how bad it can be they will save a high card to prevent the Lure going off.

No, model cards only come with models themselves or are bought individually from Wargamesvault.

Generalist Upgrade decks 1 and 2, and the Master Upgrade deck, contain all of the upgrades for all factions and masters that don't come in a box. So grab those 3 and you'll have all upgrades she can use.
  7. I think this deck is Wyrds new Brewmaster release.
  8. I’d be perfectly happy with those rather than an SS boost. Ca 6 mostly. It did feel a touch low at Ca 5 for a 9ss model. Removing the gun makes sense too.
  9. I’ve been making an effort to ‘go against the internet grain’ and try things I often see poo poo’d online. Candy did serious work for me today thanks to Sweets and Sours, including keeping an Emmisary Paralyzed for 3 turns, and even got some good Self Loathing hits in. I do think she could do with being 1ss cheaper but I wouldn’t go much lower.
  10. She could drop 1ss (I’m surprised she didn’t in the errata, actually) but she’s not too expensive. She just takes planning and support, but with that planning and support she can really do a lot.
  11. I had luck with a Mature Nephilim and Retribution’s Eye recently. Especially if you can lure Zipp into his engagement range and he can Flurry for 3 attacks.
  12. Could be amusing using Liliths Transfixing Gaze to lure him into his own smoke Pillars, doing damage and giving him Slow.
  13. About adding stuff - will we get the chance to change payment information when we confirm final additions and pay shipping? I used a credit card for the initial pledge, but I'd prefer to use paypal for the final amount.
  14. You won't actually get charged until you confirm shipping, so be careful how much you add. So far I've upped mine from Commander to Dual Commander and added Horomatangi and some Egg Clutches. Not sure if I want to add another Breachling, not sure if they're like Egg Clutches which can be summoned. Also a whole other Commander level for a friend who decided late that he wanted in.
  15. I like the Scion. His issue is he's a jack of all trades, not a specialist. His attacks are good, just low Ml/Sh. But he does so much that it pushes his cost up. Decent wound count, ability to give himself to non-damage flips, heal and reposition triggers on his attacks and a 0 to make another model perform an Interact. Powerful Condition removal. It's a lot of good stuff, it's just not great stuff. Personally I've never been disappointed when I use him. Aside from the model, that is. The only model in the starter I don't like is Angel Eyes, which is unfortunate.
  16. No, it was a custom 2 sided mat. None of the pre-done Malifaux mats were what I was after. Never noticed that. Not sure it's ever come up when we play Turf War, but I'll remember it for future games. I'm sure if you ask they could put the extra circle on there. The PVC they use doesn't take long to flatten out, and as long as you keep it in its tube you couldn't have any problems with damage.
  17. The larger 6" circle is there. You can see it on the pavement mat. This is a double sided PVC mat, not neoprene. But yes, quite cheap until you put in shipping.
  18. They specifically said in the update they were having trouble due to the detail of the models, which says to me casting issues. So the problems are before the assembly stage. As for amounts of parts, I'm guessing still a few. Nathan said that alt Lazarus was 17 pieces in TOS plastic, while he would have been over 50 in HIPS. As for the delay, it's never nice having something you're waiting for be delayed. I'm grateful for the transparency. Though it does give me more time to put money aside to buy more when we can finally pay for extras.
  19. Well yeah. Even a summoning Pandora can be doing better things than endlessly summoning Sorrows. She still has Self Loathing/Harm and Incite.
  20. I've been on a huge Pandora kick lately so I'll be experimenting with this too. Just got to get those Field Reporters.
  21. Huh, I'd never considered taking Depression on Pandora. That makes sense.
  22. How on earth do you spam Summon Sorrows when it needs a 10 of masks?
  23. Also, he doesn't have the same pose as he does on the cover. Which is a shame because the pose on the cover is awesome.
  24. Leap is pretty awesome on a scheme runner. Move your Cg ignoring terrain for a 0 action? Yes please. That leap is longer than the 4" distance between scheme markers. So one Monk can lay down two markers in a turn. Or one and move a long distance. Or none and move nearly half the board. They're in the same boat as Silurids. They're pricey for scheme runners (same ss cost, actually), but they just do it really well. Unlike Silurids, they have Butterfly Jump which can save you in a pinch. As long as they're near terrain you have to position really well to hit them or they will push out of LoS or range and your attack fails. Same thing makes them nearly impossible to engage in Ml. It's like Pandoras Fading Memories, except it doesn't require you to pass a Wp roll but is 1" less.
