  1. Having worked with similar material I’d say pinning probably isn’t necessary. The superglue bonds will be tougher than the material itself.
  2. Yeah we’ve known it’s been associated with Bayou Bash for a while. But when someone from Wyrd says it’s not in Bayou Bash... I think they’d know?
  3. A Wyrd rep said on Facebook it's not for Bayou Bash. My guess is something to do with the Gremlin Nightmare set at gencon.
  4. Might not be too far off the mark. The reveal of Kimon being in The Other Side tells me this might be about opening the gates to the Oni world.
  5. Why wait until Black Friday? I'm sure online stores should have them already.
  6. Your opponent can only counterpick you if he knows what crew you're bringing. This can either be because you always play the same few crews, in which case mix it up a bit. Get out of your comfort zone and try things you normally don't. Or because you don't have a whole lot in your collection so you're always using the same stuff, which, well, is something you only get around by buying some more stuff. The issue with Misaki sounds like a terrain issue. The only time I've ever seen Misakis Storm blasts to obscene damage is either when I've overextended some stuff or there just wasn't enough terrain on the table. She needs LoS to place those markers within 8".
  7. Ply is made for summoning Pandora. People want to score so they’re not likely to drop the condition, which makes it easy to drop a Sorrow or two on the model then start overwhelming it with Misery damage. Rinse and repeat any time they try to Ply something.
  8. Some of those have more prominent lumps where the nose should be but none have actual noses with nostrils like Wong and Burt. Even Vintage So’mer was redesigned slightly to have a lump instead of a nose.
  9. Duration of the Easter weekend. They don’t tell us exactly when so a rush of people don’t crash the server.
  10. Ah, I missed that part about following the usual restrictions on Retributions Eye. Bummer.
  11. We all know the common mistake of giving Retributions Eye to Nekima which is restricted to Enforcers. However, the FAQ includes this: 38) Some Actions/Abilities allow models to attach Upgrades during the game. Do these Actions/Abilities need to adhere to the restrictions listed on the Upgrade, or can they be attached to any model? Upgrade restrictions only affect the hiring process, and have no in game effect, so these Upgrades may be attached to any model. If there are any restrictions they will be noted in the Action or Ability’s description. It is worth noting some such Actions and Abilities bother noting “ignoring restrictions” but this is simply reminder text which was put on when there was space available. Would this not mean Nekima can take A Thousand Faces, and swap it for Retributions Eye?
  12. Yeah, same. I find that with how important AP are, it’s a waste of time and effort trying to use the interior of buildings. However I can totally see the usefulness of interiors for TtB sessions.
  13. I've never been disappointed when I've used them, but I also expect them to perform like a 5ss model and not punch above their weight like a lot of Gremlins. An Sh 6 rifle is a nice change for Gremlins, and ignoring cover helps a lot. Enough Gremlins have Bayou Two Card that I don't mind a discard for Boost Their Confidence either.
  14. There's a difference between Malifaux being affected and some limited edition models being affected. Also, The Other Side isn't HIPS like Malifaux, it's not cast in the same machines. What I gather Nathan meant was the people who do THAT type of plastic, are busy with TOS. The people that do HIPS, are busy with the Wyrdscape and new Malifaux releases.
  15. Anything that says ‘summoned’. Serena won’t count after dying either, nor will any Grown Nephilim.
  16. Wasn’t Nekima a big part of the ‘no cache’ thing? Nekima and a 7ss cache is pretty absurd at 20ss. She doesn’t really need support.
  17. With their defensive abilities (Armour, Terrifying, Regeneration and a self heal) they're pretty independent, and they have a good Ml attack with a good trigger, and a decent Sh attack. In the 7ss bracket, if you want a beater, there's little competition. Even Autumn Knights can't beat as hard or survive as well, though their have their own tricks that make them worth taking outside of the beater role.
  18. He's basically a beefy scheme runner/anti scheme runner. His speed makes him good at running up a flank and he's good enough to deal with enemy scheme runners. Once he's eaten one or two he's beefy enough to double back and help out once he's done what you wanted him to do.
  19. I figured that was the point. The whole conversation, as it read, was baiting any Guild nearby. Even the Guardsman thought it was a weirdly detailed conversation to be having out in the open on the street.
  20. Neverborn also have the Scion of Black Blood.
  21. Box Opens Pandora is a brawler, while Voices Pandora is a scalpel. Give her Fears Given Form and another upgrade of your choice. Aether Connection for survivability. Wings of Darkness is popular for the extra card draw and flight, but it doesn't work on her Fading Memories pushes so I don't like it much. I prefer Rile Them Up for the extra Incite and baseline Ml and Sh damage tracks for targets that don't have them. Pandora gets into the enemies face, preferably several models, and keeps them engaged with her ridiculous 3" engagement range. They take a lot of high Df duels from Fears Given Form which they want to pass otherwise they take 3 wounds, then Wp tests from Terrifying on Pandora herself. For more fun, she can strip Horror immunity so they need to pass more tests. Basically she eats their hand. Don't discount Sorrows. They're fragile, but they're fine at 5ss. You'll probably play the Emissary with Brawler Pandora for that no LoS required Incite (being able to dictate the activation of a backline support model first rather than a front line beater can let you kill a target of priority before they do it to you). If you do, taking Iggy and the Emissarys ability to copy abilities gives you multiple sources of Martyr to keep Woe alive - which includes tanking wounds for Pandora. Misery can be a real pain to your opponent. 1w doesn't sound like much, but for most models you're looking at at least 10% of their overall wounds each time it pings. That's some really nice bonus damage. It also doesn't get reduced by Armour (it's a separate damage source and Armour reduces to 1). You'll want to play Box Opens when you've got a strategy that forces a fight in the middle, so all of the bubbles can work. Martyr bubbles covering friendly Woe, Misery bubbles covering enemies, Pandoras 3" bubble of death in the center. Enemies engaged with Pandora are taking a LOT of tests just to activate and then try to hit her, some of those trigger Misery pings. When enemies do hit her or a Sorrow, Martyr off wounds to the Emissary and Iggy. Have an Insidious Madness or two to scheme run if needed. Lilitu can be really irritating as she has a super long range Lure, so she can stay in the back line and Lure enemies into the bubble of death. Kade does as well, but his is Ca 5 to her Ca 7, which is more reliable.
  22. They prefer the term Excremental.
  23. I primary Pandora, so definitely Zipp. He's fast enough that he's hard to catch, and his primary attack can really hurt Pandora since she can't resist on Wp and push away which is her primary defense. My next game I'm going to try the Mature Nephilim with Retributions Eye method. Possibly also with Voices Pandora to Paralyze him first or Lilith to Root him.
  24. It's a walking pile of mud with bits of headstone in it. There's not a lot more detail they could throw on the majority of it.
  25. The had alternate Nekima and Hungering Darkness there in the same material. These are master prints.
