  1. People apparently don't want to work with McMourning nor join the ranks of the guard
  2. Let the hunger games begin!.. I mean.... Uh.... Welcome new applicants!
  3. Hey Wyrdos! Don't forget to get your submissions in for the Rotten Harvest Competition! With only a week to go, time is running out so get your entries in! So far I have seen some sinister and creepily awesome pieces, but I can never get enough. What are you waiting for? The Harvest is coming!
  4. Glad you have gotten them to work together! What do you mean by swap and move? You know you can swap with any model but Lucius can only affect minions with his other abilities. His "that's what lackeys are for" doesn't care about combat and it's the only interaction he can with tubby, but it's strong enough. You can use it to get tubby into combat, or out of the wrong combat and into a better situation
  5. Ok so after a few more games, using Lucius' ability to swap and move tubby is incredibly powerful. It allows to to play a maneuvering game that sways the tempo of the fight. It has been incredibly fun
  6. mix it up and throw in the deso engine! some people take pariah and include the transmortis models, some people I have seen take arcanist constructs, I have seen some peope take different varied undead from ressers. I personally love to run him pure outcast mechromancer. It runs upgrade heavy with 3 anchors and usually the hodgepodge. another great option is to include some necropunks for scheme running. The thing about Levy is you have to experiment and learn through pain. He has so many options that you need to figure out your own playstyle and adapt to the scenario. I know a guy who loves ressers and he plays with a heaver resser pool, just adapting his models to schemes. I change it up and use the deso engine instead of the A&D sometimes just cause I like Deso.
  7. So I am trying him with Lucius and I have to say he is quite fun. Lucius using "that's what lackeys are for" can bring about a suppressing bit of movement, plus get him tied into combat quickly so as to extend his chubby life. I tried 2 and it was meh but one was fun and probably will continue to use him. It was really fun to see my opponent's face when he healed for 4 after killing a peon. Then continued to chug along. The hanged was a bad experience though....
  8. We will make an announcement as soon as they are ready to go. We want the process opened up quickly, but we don't want glitches and problems because we didn't do everything right! Don't worry, we will make the announcement so everyone will be aware and you shouldn't have to wait too much longer!
  9. for now you are good Just check back in once the voting has started to see all of the entries!
  10. That very much depends. Bound By Law (Lucius' crew) has 31 points without upgrades and 7 models. Salvage and Logistics (Leveticus Box) has 26 points without upgrades and 9 models (some costing 0 points and some you don't normally start the game with so you can summon them). Master of Puppets (Colodi crew) has 33 SS without upgrades and 9 models. And don't forget their cashe differences. They very quite a bit
  11. towards the top of the page next to the "Chat" button If you are on the phone (not sure about android) but look for drop down/out menus to check
  12. I would say, for "table top quality" these are pretty good. I would put them just above it honestly. If this is your starting over point, then I look forward to seeing how your future stuff turns out!
  13. Ok as someone who has also just picked up Lucius, I only have the box set, riflemen, and the gov proxy (first guild master). I have only played one game and got overrun particularly fast. I used all the box -1 lawyer and -1 scribe so as to use the proxy instead. I definitely feel a bruiser for mele would be highly useful instead of three riflemen. Dashal+2 riflemen feels potent but I need something smashy. What is everyone's opinion on most flexible beater for him? Preferably something I don't need another crew box for (or maybe justify it if it is in a crew box)
  14. Painting goals are a great motivational push. Set small checkpoints to be achieved and you will keep chugging along! admittedly you have a lot to paint right there
  15. man! this is amazing! how long did it take you to complete it?
  16. Absolutely! just make sure to read the requirements and then paint away!
  17. I can see the playground (only) and when I click on it it I get 4 topics. Also still have access to the event subforum. Is this normal or no? For those who only see 4 topics, that's because there are only 4 topics
  18. Has anyone tried bunraku+wicked doll+performer?
  19. For those who cant access the Henchman forum, are you not able to see the forum or are you able to click on it but only see like 4 topics?
  20. I am thinking about sculpting it with joints and things while giving it marionettes or some similar small puppets as doppelgangers.
  21. I am probably about to start sculpting an emissary to match Colodi but I am looking for some inspiration. anyone have any ideas? I will basically using sticks and greenstuff as this point. Also suggestions on posing and thematics are very welcome at this stage.
  22. does anyone have any conversion ideas for master specific? I plan on using one with colodi and I am thinking up ways to make him a puppet-ish plant
  23. The event gallery is live for submissions! I look forward to seeing everyone's miniatures this month!
  24. You just submit the entries. and you can submit as many as you want, but only one win per category! So by all means give me all the minis you can paint! i love to see them all!
