Thanks for the sweet words, peeps. I had quite a bit of fun with these gorgeous models. Painting in this style is a bit of a departure for me. I tend to do grimdark work mostly. To go this bright and subtle was really a very nice experiment for me. -
Such a nice model this is. Its the one that finally drew me into Malifaux! And so much fun to paint in such crazy colours. It felt so weird researching the inspiration for this -
What I am trying to say is that these plastics are fantastically detailed and fine, yet the surface detail is more "shallow" than I am used to.

Well cdhay, these models are seriously tiny! I had fun making her non goth but actually getting some color in. I usually use regiment brushes when painting but for these I needed fine detail ones. I just was a little stumped by the candy canes as the detail on them is a tad crude.

This is my first foray into the wonderful dark world of Malifaux. I've been seeking an alternative to the usual green color scheme of these Pandora miniatures and I think the purple and pink fits them well!

This is my first Malifaux model. It's been on the shelf for a while as I was dreaming up inspiration. When it finally hit, I painted it in an evening and quickly finished my Pandora crew to match.

After having put my Neverborn on the shelf due to lack of inspiration, I was suddenly hit by a lightning bolt. Maybe not very original, but I decided to paint my favourite Teddy model as a Care Bear and did some disturbing reserach to paint it. And when he was done, the rest followed automatically . I just love the quirky Wyrd style and the exquisite detail of the plastics.
