I was gonna maybe buy stuff (really wanted the War Wabbit) but it's almost half the price again for shipping to the UK unfortunately. Can't really justify it, annoyingly.

Annoyingly I spent about £120 on Malifaux a couple of weeks ago, I can't really afford to get anything in the sale :/ I'd love that war rabbit and I don't even play gremlins. One of the crews I bought was the dreamer, and I want Kirai, could've got the limited ones -.-

I really like the Collodi crew, I'm surprised. Kaeris looks good too! So many great releases coming.

Hey guys, I'm very new to the game and lately my interest in 'Faux has been flaring up again (mainly due to the photos of the next three months releases...). I've never played a game and only own the plastic Zoraida and Rasputina crews. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good Malifaux podcasts? It would be perfect if there was like an introductory guide to the game (fluff, general rules and gameplay overview etc) but just some generally entertaining podcasts about the game would be awesome too. Sorry if this question is asked a lot, I did have a quick look round. Thanks for any help.

One thing I've found is I tend to like half of each faction, which doesn't help... I really like the spirits side of ressers but not so much the zombies, I really like Rasputina and Marcus but not really the MaSU side of arcanists, I like Dreamer and Zoraida and Lucius from Neverborn but not so much the others...

Hm Zoraida. I do really like Zoraida actually, she's pretty cool. And her having some good crossover with Dreamer is good too. Does she use anything that would work well with Lucius too? What would I want to pick up alongside Zoraida?

Eh I guess, but just making the zombies punks doesn't change the fact they're just zombies. But I get your point yeah. They are better than some games, and I'll probably come around to them haha.

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack this much. And jimbonovalsocks, it's mainly Kirai and her ghosts that appeal to me, but yeah I'll look into TT. It's not that the others don't appeal at all, it's just... Zombies are everywhere, it's just a bit dull and tired, personally.

Molly's crew isn't out I plastic yet is it? I'll look into her spirit side too though, thank you.

Yeah I guess that makes sense. Maybe we'll see some more spirit type ressers masters in the future.

I came to the ressers section to ask the same question...but completely the reverse. Are ressers still viable if I just stick to the Asian spirits side? I find the zombies side to be a bit boring...

When I think of Malifaux I think of Coppelius... But Lucius and the Widow Weaver I think are good choices too

I showed my GF Zoraida, Lucius and Pandora, and she said I should get Lucius, so the choice might be out of my hands now...

I'm really stuck again now then... I really like Lucius, I really like Zoraida now I've looked more at her, and Pandora is okay, but she has crossover with Dreamer who I really like... And thanks for those links, I'll check it out and might be in touch

Haha I don't know enough about the game to be a Henchmen, I haven't even played because of the whole no local clubs thing... But Monday nights I actually am free so I might be able to swing that.

So if I did start with Pandora, what other models would I need to buy? And I guess I'd need the rulebook and a fate deck?

Thanks guys. I'll leave Dreamer for a while till all his stuffs out then. So really it's between Lucius and Pandora. Pandora is probably the logical choice, but the idea of Lucius and corrupt Guild officials with demons and stuff is just really cool...

Yeah I know some of them aren't out yet. I think if the Dreamer box was out, I'd possibly start there... Do we have any idea when it is due? Is there much crossover between crews? Like could I start say a Lucius or Pandora crew, and when Dreamer comes out play him with similar models? Also, can Lucius take any Neverborn models? And can he take Neverborn and Guild models in one crew?

I'm in Gosport, near Portsmouth but about half the week I'm at my girlfriends in Littlehampton, and neither place is great for gaming.

Haha okay well in that case... The crews I like the most looks wise are: Lucius, Rasputina, Dreamer, Pandora, Zoraida, Leveticus, Von Schill is okay, Jack Daw from the concept art... I don't know how to narrow it down any more haha. Thanks for that link Dirial.

Hi guys, so lately I've been getting more and more into Malifaux, and I'm trying to pick which crew to start with. Trouble is, my hobby ADD is ridiculously bad, and I like pretty much all of them, so nailing one down to pick up is proving very difficult... I know how vague this is, I don't really know what else to say to help narrow it down really. Just anything that goes some way to help me choose... Like are there any crews particularly suited to a beginner? Any which you would definitely avoid? Sorry, I know I'm being less than helpful but really any help would be really appreciated. Oh, and is there any way I can find players near me easily? My area is terrible for gaming.
