  1. Each Pursuit has what is called a Venture Talent they begin with, which is, essentially, a rank 0 Talent. However, this Talent only applies to the current Pursuit the player is on. As pointed out by Shadowpal, the Drudge's Venture Talent is "Hard Days Night" while the Dabbler's is "Epiphany" and their effects are stated under the name of the Talent on the page. Epiphany says:
  2. I guess I was the "Turd" FM...if my players didn't take literacy, they weren't able to read or write. This is the turn of the 20th century, after all; not everyone can read or write. But, looking back, I suppose literacy could be used to improve upon someone's ability to read and write, and those with a 0 Rank would just barely be literate. Nowadays we rectify that by just handing out Literacy as a freebie Rank 1 skill, unless the player WANTS to be illiterate.
  3. This is just the course I took with my Graverobber, Horace Graves. The Station I drew was Tracker, and immediately came up with a kid who was always brought out with his dad on hunting expeditions, picking up all the trapped animals, but who felt sorry for them. Ultimately, Horace starts practicing Necromancy to bring animals back to life (kind of a reverse psychopath). His Grimoire comes in the form of a mangy, undead cat named Mr. Tooms. He has no real significant affect on play except as fluff for my character, as a plot device, and as the source of my Necromantic learnings.
  4. We've been discussing the issue of Hedge Magic and Elemental Immuto interaction as well. Some thoughts have been getting the first use free, other thoughts have been limiting the amount with some arbitrary number. I like the idea of using an infinite amount of Immuto, lol...but in all sincerity I think the limit on Immuto should be based on the Fated's Rank in whatever Skill they're applying the Immuto to. Example: Ginny the Hedge Magic Dabbler has a Sorcery Skill Rank 3 and wants to cast Poison Darts (Elemental Projectile with Poison Immuto). With Rank 3 she'd be able to add Poison to the spell 3 times for free, and up the TN starting with the fourth usage. That's my take, anyway.
