  1. Cheers for clearing that up. So Walk Action are walking only and no other form of movement.
  2. Hiya, This is properly a really easy question to answer and silly of me to ask but I'm quite unsure so here I go: What counts as a ‘Walk Action’ is regards to a condition like 'Denial of Sanzu'? Is it just the ‘Walk’ action or does it include things like ‘Charge’? I guess it doesn't include pushes, since they always seem exempt from stuff like this. Also if you have this condition does it stop you from being moved by things like Lure? Cheers.
  3. Bengt. I would have never thought of that, it is basically making a tab like the metal ones have (only a sensible size). Thanks a lot. Requirement. That was my first idea but Kirai's pose doesn't really give you anything to drill into and not instantly pop out the other side. Myyrä. If I had more confidance in my ability to do that without making it look unnatural I would have a go. Thanks for the replys everyone
  4. Hi there, any chance of some help please. So I finally started to get round to putting together my Plastic Kirai box. Got all my pretty resin bases sorted that I use on all my Resurrectionists, got all the stuff I needed together and was about to start assembling Kirai herself when I finally noticed her only point of contact with the base was her tiny foot. So this is my problem. Normally I pin my models to resin bases, its the most secure method I know, but there is no way I can do that here. So what alternatives is there? I don't think just super glueing it will cut it. In fact I'm sure if I wasn't using Resin bases, I'd still have trouble with a normal plastic one. Does anyone else have this trouble with thin models? What's the best way people have found, if any?
  5. Thanks for the replys. Would you hire any of them as part of your starting crew, or just hire some tough 'wound batteries' to summon them on?
  6. I've only recently started up Malifaux, played a handful of games, and my first Master has been Kirai and I've never looked back. I love the summoning part of this game and I know that I'll be picking up Nicodem soon. But for now Kirai has stolen my heart, and my question is aimed at my fellow players of this wonderful girl: When summoning is there a particular spirit you aim to have out as soon as you can? I know that it can be said that it is all dependant on what cards you have in your hand. But say you have a card high enough to summon something more expensive, do you go straight for it each time or do you go for something you feel is more useful? I admit I can see that summoning is very dependent on the situation, cards in hand, and requirements but I’m asking this in part so that I am aware of what models I need to spend my hard earn cash on. Or should I just buy lots of everything
  7. FAR north, and then far west really. I'm from the north west coast, in the quaint Lake District. It's a few hours drive to the nearest city, a few more to cross the border to scotland. I'm lucky we have almost a dozen or so people within a reasonable distance that we can get together every now and then to play games. Hence why it is hard to encourgae new games.
  8. Good [insert relevent time period for reader here] I hail from the dreary far north of England, where it is always overcast and the sun is a thing of legends I enjoy doing all kinds of Wargames and I'm a big RP fan. I've lurked around this forum for a while, but haven't joined becuase I've never played a game of Malifaux yet. But that all ended yesterday and now the addition had set in. I've know about the game for a while, bought a old metal starter when it came out (Kirai) but failed to convince any of my mates to play. So it all kinda got put on the back burner. There isn't many of us in the local area so changing game systems is difficult. However, GenCon rolled around this year and after a look at the amazing models available there is now a few new addicts in our circle. So I'm doing a obligatory intro thread to say hi and tell you how cool this game is, how awesome you people seem and how exicted I am to get into it all. Now time to get to business and raise me some undead
