Hello all! On Wednesday from 5pm-10pm we will be holding a Malifaux demo day at The Armoury in New Bedford. Even if you're well versed in the rules, please feel free to stop by and get in some games! For December we are having a 50ss Tournament using the Gaining Grounds 2016 rules (UNLESS Stake a Claim on Corner Deployment is still the round 3 scenario. I will not subject anyone to that hell. We can just use round 4's stuff. I don't have the document in front of me, maybe it won't even still be there come December....) As per usual there will be a $15 entry fee, all of which will go out in store credit (along with the tournament kit) for prizes. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, best painted model, and a raffle prize for those of you playing fully painted crews. More prizes based on participation! The Armoury in New Bedford, MA is hosting a 4 week malifaux league. One game a week is recorded, and you can make up any missed games (example: if you join in week 3, you can play 3 games immediatly.) 50ss, fixed faction. You can play against anyone in the league (so far we have 8 players), even if they have already played their game for the week. $15 entry fee, prizes will be both store credit and mystery boxes! The armoury wargames and hobbies is having a Halloween party, and we have some malifaux events set up for you all to enjoy!! The first is an enforcer brawl tournament, using all the standard rules for that. The second is a gaining grounds 50ss tournamen, with a slight twist. A lot of people in the area are participating in the TFL League, so if you are matched against any of your opponents for that, you may play an official TFL game using the corresponding strategy. Also if you let me know who you need to play for that, I will do my best to see you matched up first round. Both of these events are free, and prizes from the tournament kits will be given out, as well as opportunity to win some store credit for the Halloween party. (They're doing a thing with stamps for games you play and $15 malifaux is one of the prizes you can win for that) Sign ups for the 50ss tournament will begin at noon, and the first round will start at 1. Rounds will be 1hour 45minutes and there will be 3 rounds. After the first round (3pm-4pm) we will have an hour or so break for lunch, during which we will be hosting the enforcer brawl. Starting next Wedsday, the 28th, we will be having a super casual league at the Armoury Wargames and Hobbies at 58 Conduit St, New Bedford, MA. Every game you play earns you a ticket, and a win earns you a bonus ticket. In addition, we will be giving out bonus tickets for random events, cool game happenings and general being a good sport. Every week we will pick a ticket at random to win a mystery box, and aster the fourth week we will be giving away extra prizes. The final league day will be October 26th. Come on down and play!

Hey guys and gals, The Armoury is excited to be starting up a Malifuax league in May. Here is how it works: Start Date: Wedsday May 4th (may the 4th be with you. I think I'm going to have to change the name of the league to that) Registration: $15 Duration: 4 weeks Prizes: Official prize kit swag, Crew boxes and Wyrd model kits based on participation. If we get a bigger turn out than we inticipate we will be adding in weekly prizes on Wednesday evenings! This league will be an achievement league. Each person will be given a league sheet with goals to achieve. Examples of these are painting models, trying enw masters, acheiving X amounts of VP's and differentials, ect. March-Madness style bracket league. This will be a single master, single faction event. You will be matched up against a random Master+opponent week 1 and proceed onwards down your bracket. Only one 50ss game needs to be played a week, on any day of your choosing. Wednesdays will be the start of the week. First week starts March 30th, Final week ends on April 27th. Heyy, Itsss been a busy month for conventions and it slipped my mind to post it outside of Facebook, but The Armoury is having a 50ss Gaining Grounds Tournement this Saturday! The Armoury in is New Bedford is hosting a 4 week slow-grow league to help some of our new players get better acquainted with the game (veterans equally welcome!). Where: Games to be played at The Armoury When: Starting Wednesday, January 20th, until February 17th. New week begins each Wednesday. $$$?: entry fee is $10 Loot: Prizes based on participation! There will be store credit, weekly bingo prizes, and if I'm able to acquire one, prizes from the official tournament kits. Sportsmanship and best painted crew box will also win stuff! Structure: Week 1 is to be played with 20ss games, Henchman lead. Week 2 is 30ss, you may use a master. Week 3 is 40ss, week 4 is 50ss. You may play anything in your declared faction. Up to three games may be played per week. You get 2 points for winning a game, 1 point for tying, and 0 points for a loss. Points will be used to determine the overall winner. Bingo prizes: Each wedsday anyone playing games at the store will receive a bingo card.
