I am still not able to comment on the entries. Are the comments turned on, or are you still working on that?

By the way, not sure if there is a way to fix this with the new forum setup, but the only way I can find to get a larger look at the photos is to right-click them and "Open Image in new Tab".
Looks like you can click the little arrows at the top right corner of the picture to 'view in lightbox'. This will give you a larger view

Time is midnight tonight! Central time!
Cool. That gave me time to finish another entry.
I just submitted it. Hopefully it came through, along with the other entry I uploaded yesterday
-
Ok, just wanted to double-check the exact due-date. You say midnight on the 2nd, which conventionally would mean the midnight between the 2nd and 3rd.
But then you say you need Nov 2 and 3 to sort the entries. Which make it sound like the due date is actually the midnight between the Nov 1 and Nov 2.
So which one is it? -
Thank you all for the extensive replies! That definitely helped.
I am finishing up my crew now. I won't tell exactly which ones I chose. Don't want to break the contest rules =0
I am not sure about playing the game. My auction purchase did inlcude a couple of rule books and a fate deck as well. It looks fun, but rather intimidating also! I am more of a boardgame player. Besides, I am sure all these are first edition things, so they are probably outdated anyway.

Hello!
I am a miniature painter (beginner) and I am planning to participating in the summer painting contest.
I am thinking about painting a crew. The rules stipulates a master plus at least four characters. But I am not entirely sure what constitues a crew.
I have a lot of resurrectionists I bought at an auction -- about ten blisters. This is what I have:
- Nicodem the Undertaker
- Mortimer the Gravedigger
- Canine remains (two different packs)
- Vultures (two idential packs)
- Crooked Man
- The Hanged
- Mindless zombies
- Graveyard bases
Nicodem will be my master, and I will also paint Mortimer. Then I am not sure. Does all these qualify as being on Nicodem's crew? I think most of them do, but I wasn't sure about the Mindless Zombies.
The Mindless Zombies does look like more fun to paint than the Crooked Men. I have painted one of the hanged already, so I can't use that.
Can a crew have several characters of the same kind? (like the Mindless Zombies and Canine Remains) I am not planning on gaming with the crew, but I want ot to be realistic. Also, what is a realistic crew size? Is 5 normal, or is that a very small crew?
Thank you!

Congratulations on your spot in the gold tier. Well deserved! I’m always impressed by great custom sculpting. I’m also impressed that you put so much time into this.
The gore effect on the claws is outstanding.
I am a bit curious – what did you find so nightmarish about painting the cream and white? I know some cream colors darkens a lot when they dry, which makes it very tricky to do any kind of smooth blending.
The base is great too.
A bit of critique, since you asked I feel the color of the tongue makes it disappear a bit. Maybe that was intentional though? Also, the details on the back claws might be lacking a little bit.
